This review is for the SERVICE Department. Recently had a issue with electronic thermostat where check engine light displayed. I was told it would eventually go off and it did. After speak Recently had a issue with electronic thermostat where check engine light displayed. I was told it would eventually go off and it did. After speaking with another customer with the same issue, she was told her engine would melt together if thermostat stuck closed and she continued to drive. I called the service department with concern because we are going on vacation and was told they could do nothing until it happened on my car. I assuming that the engine has to melt to get action since I had already experienced the problem? He could have cared less about my concerns. We bought an Outback because of their reputation for dependability and customer service. The customer service we received from the service department was far from good. More
