New Frontier with serious issues While traveling to Las Vegas, my new Frontier with 841 miles decided that it had gone far enough. Nissan towed it the 69 remaining miles to Henderson While traveling to Las Vegas, my new Frontier with 841 miles decided that it had gone far enough. Nissan towed it the 69 remaining miles to Henderson because that was close to my hotel. I walked from the hotel to the dealership the next morning. Henderson Nissan arranged for a Nissan paid rental car. My wife and I toured Death Valley and the surrounding area. Upon our return, we were given a different rental, a dealer owned Rogue, because the new transmission hadn't arrived. We drove that home in Utah and drove back in two weeks later for a reunion with our Frontier. Although the codes indicated that the transmission was the problem, they were incorrect. We stalled on the way to Lake Havasu City. Towed back, the dealership helpfully arranged for a Versa as their last available rental vehicle at 8:30 at night. We drove that for a month or so while Nissan engineers tried to determine the problem. They failed, We transferred into a higher trim level Frontier Pro4x after the original Frontier SV was shipped to our dealership located on the Wasatch Front. Henderson Nissan's Shane S. was extremely helpful. Being 500 miles from home as senior citizens without an operational vehicle could have been problematic to say the least. It all worked out in the end. We drove rental cars for several thousand miles, have a new Frontier that I quite enjoy, and later bought a new Nissan Murano Platinum for my wife. Now I have two new Nissan's parked in my garage. Had Henderson Nissan been less than helpful, I probably would not have any Nissan products now (lemon laws worked well - the corporate contact person was helpful as well.). Although I didn't buy the first truck (or subsequent Nissan) from Henderson Nissan, I am appreciative for the much needed assistance that they provided to my wife and me. More

Their service person are rude and bad attitude they won't help me so I told the guy to call your manager they won't even call the manager told me to wait then ask me to leave premises. I went to main office to get manager to talk to me for airbag recall and complaining their service person and manager said can't understand me. My car was under warranty and did not repair airbag recall. If im going to buy a new car it will be different story nice and friendly. They are racist people there. I'm going to sell my 2014 Nissan Sentra. That's my second car I bought from Nissan dealer with warranty. They always declined service if warranty is involved. I will never buy their car. More

Can No Longer Trust the Maintenance Okay, so a little history about me, I presently own 3 Nissans, 2014, 2012, & 2011, I've owned 2 other Nissans (05, 08) previous to the 3 I have now al Okay, so a little history about me, I presently own 3 Nissans, 2014, 2012, & 2011, I've owned 2 other Nissans (05, 08) previous to the 3 I have now all of which I purchased new from the dealer. I have always personally performed all the routine maintainenance on each of my vehicles and so to-date I have not had any issues with any of my vehicles as far as performance since I've owned Nissans so I am quite perplexed as I always followed manufacterer's schedule of maintenance. So after getting a notice in the mail of factory recall concerning R/R the timing chain on my Juke I promptly scheduled with Henderson Nissan to complete the warrantee work, and the was I had just changed my oil and filter (had maybe 400 miles on it) when I took it in. Then two things happened, turns out I waited half-the-day at home for the service dept phone call to come pick my vehicle but instead I get notified that the service department did not have all the necessary parts on-hand to complete the work even though I scheduled the work well in advanced (1 week at least) and since they did not have all the parts on hand they needed to keep my vehicle for an unexpected extra day and the dealership offered me "No" compensation or "No rental" to replace my vehicle, so-a-long-story short I went back the next day midday, the warrantee work was completed without cost to me and I drove off, now fast forward 4 months and now it's time to change my oil and filter ... so I elevate my vehicles front and first thing I notice is a Nissan OEM oil filter, so automatically I know the service dept changed my oil bc I don't use OEM parts for oil changes on any of my vehicles, so then I complete the oil change which I noted my oil's color was unusually dark (almost like cherry juice) and it's never been that dark even after 3500 miles, so then as I watched it drain my oil pan almost over flowed and I really began to wonder wth was going on. So as it stands I have deduced that upon completing the warrantee work the service dept mechanic put almost 5.2 qts in my Juke and it's only suppose to be maxed at 4.75 qts, then I noted the oil filter's OEM number and it turned out to be the wrong OEM Nissan filter that was put on my car ... so right now I am concerned about potentially compression damage that might have been caused and the potential for crankcase leaks AND now I can't trust this Nissan Dealer's Mechanical service--oh what to do, what will I do now? Now I am considering no longer purchasing another Nissan as this would be the year I was to replace my 2011. More

Henderson Nissan was the only place I'd had my car serviced for the last 2 1/2 years. Brought my car in with a problem that had developed about a year ago shortly after an oil change at this dealer serviced for the last 2 1/2 years. Brought my car in with a problem that had developed about a year ago shortly after an oil change at this dealership, smoke coming from the engine compartment, and a foul smell coming through the vent when it's set for fresh air. Their recommendation was: Replace valve cover gasket/PCV valve hose Oil pan reseal Transmission side seal Right axle seal Cost: $1,330 Was told the first three items were causing the smoke. Drove the car home to think about this for a week and talk to coworkers knowledgeable about cars. Was told the only thing that could cause smoke was oil leaking through the valve cover gasket. I opened the hood and decided to check the screws holding the valve cover in place. They were all loose, so loose I could remove them with my fingers. I can only speculate how that happened, valve cover screws don't loosen themselves. Spent 30 seconds tightening them. Problem solved, no more smoke, no more smell. At the very best, one can conclude that their mechanics are incompetent to miss such a simple fix, but we know that isn't the case. I'm pretty sure their mechanics know how to fix cars. But auto repair shops don't make lots of money tightening screws, they make lots of money on repairs, whether necessary or otherwise. More
