Thank you Darrell Hetke. I went in, told him what model and trim I like and worked on my budget. I’m enjoying driving my first Mazda CX5. I went in, told him what model and trim I like and worked on my budget. I’m enjoying driving my first Mazda CX5. More

Even with the computer system down they were able to get me into the car I wanted with no headaches or hassles. Just took a little more time due to having to manually enter the info. I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Findlay Mazda, and I feel compelled to share my story. I purchased a Tesla from them, only to discover it had a “Tesla Salvage” title. The dealership Findlay Mazda, and I feel compelled to share my story. I purchased a Tesla from them, only to discover it had a “Tesla Salvage” title. The dealership claimed they had no idea that after a Tesla is in an accident, it needs to be inspected by Tesla. I could almost look past that, but what I can’t overlook is the horrendous customer service. After trading in my Audi and picking up the Tesla, I quickly found out that the car couldn’t be supercharged and had no Tesla warranty. Instead of making things right, I was insultingly offered $1,500 in lieu of the warranty. Seriously? They expected me to be okay with having no warranty after spending $45,000 on a car? That’s incredibly shady. The nightmare continued when I had to return the Tesla and get my Audi back. Dropping off the Tesla and picking up my Audi was a hassle, but what really got to me was being told I had to wait for my down payment refund, despite them knowing I was dropping the car off. Fine, I can deal with that. But I had also unregistered my trade-in to get the credit for registering my new car. When I told the title department, they said, “Oh, you shouldn’t have done that.” Seriously? Every car I’ve ever bought, I’ve done this to receive my credit, and they didn’t offer to help with the re-registration costs. Fine, I let that slide too. My credit union requested that the check be sent back to them to unwind the deal. Mark promised this would happen on Thursday and that he would overnight the check and send me the tracking information. Guess what? That didn’t happen. Why, you ask? They claimed they didn’t know where to send it. It’s 2024, and the internet exists. When I asked why no one called me to ask, they said, “Our business office doesn’t reach out to customers.” Really? Any one of them could have called me. The customer service was so abysmal that I will never buy from a Findlay dealership again. This is particularly disappointing because I have previously purchased over $200,000 worth of Audis from the Findlay dealership next door. Oddly enough, the dealership I ended up buying my Tesla from knew all about Tesla’s internal warranties and how Tesla salvaged titles work. Findlay Mazda told me that “Tesla doesn’t talk to dealers,” which I later found out is a flat-out lie. The dealership I went to showed me communication between them and Tesla, validating the warranty and history of the car, and this dealership is in Tucson, AZ. I am a very loyal customer, having bought an Audi RS3, SQ5, S5, and a Q4 Etron all from a Findlay dealership. I jump through hoops to make deals happen, but I will never buy from a Findlay dealership again after this experience. More
