My daughter attends college i Classic example of a chauvinistic shop, trying to take advantage of a young woman, who they perceived to be vulnerable. My daughter attends college in St. George, and we live 4 hours away. I had a strong suspicion that her intermittent starting problems were related to a loose battery cable, so I called ahead to have the Hyundai dealership check it out. When she arrived, they said it would only be an hour to check, but since she had to get to work, she waited until the end of the day to retrieve the car. When she arrived, to her surprise, no one had even looked at it all day, in spite of their promise to at least lift the hood and check the cable. So, forced to leave the car overnight, again my daughter returns the next day (after looking for rides to school, work and back to the dealership) to be told that she needed a special new $260 battery PLUS $65 for installation. The truth is, they never even looked under the hood! When they spoke to me over the phone, the service manager insisted that they checked the cable and also ran a deep battery test/diagnosis, and the report came back confirming the battery was dead - unable to be recharged. They claimed the findings were documented but NEVER provided a copy to me or my daughter. They charged me $65 for the fake diagnostics and held her car ransom until I paid over the phone. I asked again if they confirmed the dead battery and was told “with absolute certainty, yes”. However, nothing had been done.....NOTHING. The car started for her, so I told her to take it to Auto Zone in St. George, where a great young man tightened the positive battery cable and tested the battery for free. The cable fixed the problem, as I had suspected it would, and the car has started every time for a month now. By the way, Auto Zone confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the battery, and my daughter watched him run the test. This is proof that Findlay Service never did what they said and charged us for it anyway. All Findlay Hyundai had to do was look at the cable, as I had asked in the first place. But instead, they chose to manipulate the customer and extract money for doing absolutely nothing. I would never trust them to work on my car again. In the final analysis, the employees at Auto Zone are better mechanics than the dealer, and they care more about the customer. THANK YOU, AUTO ZONE! More

Great People I had purchased a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited a year ago. On the 16th of November a pickup truck rear ended me, totaling my car. When the insurance company wrote their estimate of the value of my car I took it to the sales manager at Findlay Hyundai, Dave "Mac". He said that they were not comparing Apples with Apples and were shorting me at least $1,000.00. Dave helped me to show why and what for they should be comparing my car with a Certified car. He help them understand what it means to Hyundai to Certify a car. We do not know the results yet because all the information was just emailed to them today. I knew what kind of car I wanted and they only had 2 on the lot. So I purchased the Electric Blue one. It is a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited with lots of Bells and Whistles!!! I got it for nearly the same price I paid for my other car... It is not RED but I love my car. They bent over backwards to make it possible for me to go up north to have Thanksgiving with my family. The insurance co took my rental car from me the day before Thanksgiving!!! I never want to deal with Allstate again! More

The answer all of your questions in a friendly, and thorough manner. The sales manager went out of his way to include a spare tire without any extra charge. Working with the finance manager was low key, friendly, and easy. I cannot recommend Findlay Automotive more highly. More

Partly our fault, as we had not come fully prepared to purchase that day with pre-approved financing from our credit union. My wife filled out the test drive promotion form for the $40 Visa card, and we gave to Mike. Haven't heard anything yet from Hyundai. More
