We can stay cool, now My wife was driving the Jetta when the rear-view mirror came off. Since she was in the area, she stopped by the dealership and they promptly re-insta My wife was driving the Jetta when the rear-view mirror came off. Since she was in the area, she stopped by the dealership and they promptly re-installed it. The service agent noted that the car interior was rather warm--she said yes, we'd been meaning to get the a/c fixed but had never gotten around to it. They offered to check it out on the spot--an hour or so later, she was out of there with it fixed--just needed a recharge. And they even washed the car. More

New car...not planned I decided to buy a new car after the dealership could not tell me what was wrong with mine after I had to be towed in the afternoon before. I was movi I decided to buy a new car after the dealership could not tell me what was wrong with mine after I had to be towed in the afternoon before. I was moving across the country and had to go another 800 miles in the mountains and desert, so decided a new car was needed since my car had been having trouble two days in a row (a dealership in Amarillo, TX fixed some wiring less than 5 hours earlier, but the same situation occurred, so that must not have been the correct fix.) The sales team was friendly, but they also new I was desperate to get moving and did not have time to waste. The service department could have tried to help more. After a phone call at 8:30 am to tell me nothing was wrong with my car (remember that it was towed in the day before because it would accelerate.) I was told that they would try it again. After sitting in a hotel for several hours, I walked to the dealership to be told they still haven't looked at it. The service department knew my traveling situation, but obviously did not feel an urgency to help me. This was the opposite of the encounter I had with the staff in Amarillo, TX. More
