When I arrived, I was not greeted at my car to check in as is usual. So I turned my car off and walked inside to the service area and stood for several minutes before somebody checked me in. The individual as is usual. So I turned my car off and walked inside to the service area and stood for several minutes before somebody checked me in. The individual who checked me in told me to stand at an empty desk to wait for the technician who was handling my service. I stood there for ten minutes waiting for assistance while there were plenty of other people being helped. There was no initiative by anyone to notify this technician that somebody was waiting for him evidenced by the wait and his apparent unawareness of my arrival when he walked back to his desk where I was waiting. When the technician found my appointment and read through the services I said I needed he was like, “oh you need more than just an oil change.” Which told me that nobody had prescreened the day’s appointments. He said it would take two hours, and asked if I would be leaving and then coming back. I expressed that if a loaner car was available that would be great but none were available, and although there was an offer to get me a Lyft (which was nice), that wasn’t going to work because they can’t go on base where I work. The work ended up taking 3 hours, and the costs of the services that I asked for were not reviewed with me prior to servicing (which used to be a standard practice). There seemed to be a real lack of care and customer service that I have come to expect from Fiesta Subaru. It’s one of the major reasons that I stopped getting my car serviced at Garcia Subaru. I hope that day was just a fluke, but if I experience this again, I will have to consider finding somewhere else to take my car. More
