I would like to tell you about an exemplary employee--Ed Palomeno. I recently damaged my car, was very distressed and he took me by the hand. I recently brought my BMW X5 in for service and was greeted by service writer Ed Palomeno. I have never been treated so politely and courteously! From the moment I arrived Ed was engaged in my service greeted by service writer Ed Palomeno. I have never been treated so politely and courteously! From the moment I arrived Ed was engaged in my service issues as if I was the only person in the extremely busy service department. He painstakingly explained to me what the problem was and what my options were. He was as concerned about my "pocketbook/wallet" as I was! He concluded the service write by explaining that to me that he would get back to me after the mechanic had a chance to assess the problem. True to his word he called me as promised and explained my options and even offered alternatives! The work was prompt and as articulated. Ed is one of the main reasons I have bought numerous BMW's from Fields! I would not go any where else for service and always ask for Ed when I need service! if Ed is off that day I make sure to return when he is scheduled! More
I've been coming to Fields for a very long time now. It is the only place I will buy/service my vehicle from. Although I certainly can take my car somewhere else I choose to only work with Fields. Anyone can do a good job on the car but what keeps my coming back is the excellent customer service that I'm given at every single visit. The customer service is professional, friendly, and attentive. Everyone that works there from the porters to the ladies in the snack bar to customer service have always had me walking away feeling important. Ed Palomeno and Daphne are the two people I deal with the most upon my visits. They are true keepers and definitely an asset. I have nothing but positive things to say about them both. When Fields BMW said "Fields BMW matters because you matter" It means it well. Last Saturday I brought my X5 in for Vehicle Check and Oil Change. I was not happy during the first 15 minutes of my fir matter" It means it well. Last Saturday I brought my X5 in for Vehicle Check and Oil Change. I was not happy during the first 15 minutes of my first time vising this Services team because I did not understand how each customer should be helped during dropping off a vehicle. I saw two customers got help before me while I was waiting for a call. While I was waiting to get in Services manager's office here came Matt Williamson through shop entrance. I approached him and asked "this is my first time here and where does the line for service start?" I continued "I had a 9:45 AM appointment and I already lost about 20 minutes." Matt did not hesitate, but wanted to take care of me right away by saying "how can I help you, sir?" We approached the services desk and start the paper work. He emphasized that I was there for Vehicle Check and Oil Change. I told Matt that I lost times and I had to come back for Oil Change later in a month. He was okay with that and will make a new appointment for me later. He felt my frustration I could tell. Then he told me that he has 50% off coupon for Vehicle Check. I said "great and thank you". he told me it was going to take about an hour for the service and suggested me to have somethings in the waiting room. I went and order hot breakfast. I like it. Victoria served me very well with passion. She brought my hot meal to me at the couch with a smile and the I-Want-To-Serve-You attitude. I sincerely thank her. About 10 minutes later, Matt approached me and said "I talked to my manager about your situation and we decided to do the oil change for you today on us." I re-affirmed that my X5 would be ready by 11:00 AM. Matt said yes. I said "thank you so much for doing this." I went in to Fields BMW for the service frustrated in a few minutes and came out very happy on time. Fields BMW has trained their people well! Matt listened to my feeling. Employees are empowered to take such an action (decision) in order to exceed customer expectation. Matt and his manager made a decision to make me happier; I was their new customer for service. So, they wanted to offer me their excellent customer services. Fields BMW Northfields knows it will cost them 5 times more to gain a new customer than to keep an exiting one. It really means it when it said "Fields BMW matters because you matter". Thanks Matt Williamson and Victoria! I will see you again soon :-). More
