I took my x5 in to repair the thermostat and exhaust sensors, which were very expensive to repair. When i picked up the car a few days later, my car was in the worst shape of its life. Driving the car sensors, which were very expensive to repair. When i picked up the car a few days later, my car was in the worst shape of its life. Driving the car back home, the car began to overheat and the acceleration was terrible. Turned out that my coolant resivoir was damaged. I've never had any problems with overheating issues until I took my car to Fields. I had Fields tow my car back to the dealership. The service adviser tried to charge me 500 bucks to fix the problem. I've read some forum posts regarding my problem, and I discovered that people who took their cars to fields encountered the exact same bogus problem. Hmmm, VERY SUSPICIOUS. These guys f***ked with my car, thinking that they could take advantage of a young customer. P.S. When I discovered the heating issues, I left several messages to my service advisor: none of my messages were returned. I had to call at least 20 times in order until I finally came in contact with my service advisor. More
I have driven 6000 miles in my certified BMW used car in a year and a half period of time. The car is a convertible and has been garaged kept and stored four months every year. I brought it to be service a year and a half period of time. The car is a convertible and has been garaged kept and stored four months every year. I brought it to be serviced in July under the "year maintainance warranty." They told me that they changed the oil (they did not) and that my car was in good condition. After three months I brought it in for oil change (325.00) and they told me my certified used car (that I bought a year and a half ago) needs tons of work. After only 6000 hwy miles, they want me to pay (now that the warranty has lapsed) for brakes, tires, some sort of coolant "issue" and the oil filters. It is obviously a scam! Why would I need to pay thousands of dollars in service for a car I purchased a year and a half ago! IT HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN 6000 MILES! THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM! But they pride themselves on offering breakfast when you walk into their service. SCAM More
I walked in with a family member who was looking to test drive a BMW X3. The salesman, who was very undereducated about BMW, said there were no X3s. I told him to check again. He came back with a filthy X3 drive a BMW X3. The salesman, who was very undereducated about BMW, said there were no X3s. I told him to check again. He came back with a filthy X3 which had JUST been offloaded a truck after coming from Germany. It was disgusting. Also, it had LESS THAN ONE GALLON OF FUEL IN THE TANK. We had to stop at a gas station so they could full it up. When I asked about the car, he proceded to read off all the options the car had, not even telling us any features. It was the worse test drive ever. I then told him about my car, and told him the model name and trim level (I will not mention it here for privacy). Anyways, the BMW I have was just redesigned, and it has a unique model trim, which is quite obvious. He then asked me, "what year is it?" I repeated the model and trim, and told him it was only made for one year. He hadn't a clue. Meanwhile, @ the dealer, his desk faces the model I have. He said he just transferred from Toyota two months ago, and he didn't know about BMW. I asked him why, but he did not give a response. At that point, we walked out. Never, ever, ever buy a BMW from Fields BMW. It is not worth it. More
Level 1 Service on Monday. Fan clutch replaced during service plus the other extras. 1400 dollars. Get car home Monday evening park it until Wednesday morning, pool of fluid under car! I call Fields and service plus the other extras. 1400 dollars. Get car home Monday evening park it until Wednesday morning, pool of fluid under car! I call Fields and I'm told to bring it in on Thurday 7 am. I report at 7 am, grease xxxxxx looks a car 8 am. I'm told the anti freeze resevoir is leaking. I authorize replacement. Car is poorly washed and delivered to the front door. I pay 240 dollars. I check under hood and find the fan cowling broken. They deny any responsibilty. How that for service? BMW engineers a grat car and it's too bad Fields BMW can't service them properly. More
I've taken my 2000 5 series here multiple times. Only 1 slightly bad experience where they didn't discover they had ordered the wrong part until they were 50% done. ugh ! They did however, give me a loan slightly bad experience where they didn't discover they had ordered the wrong part until they were 50% done. ugh ! They did however, give me a loaner on the spot. I found the service advisors very fiendly, pro-active, and informative. They were also extremely quick at diagnosing most problems. I really have no complaints. The late service hours are a real plus. More
These guys were great. I showed up on a busy Saturday and John (Sls Mgr) showed me the cars he had and gave me the best price I'd heard all within 25 minutes....no games, no BS. Regrettably, the color /optio John (Sls Mgr) showed me the cars he had and gave me the best price I'd heard all within 25 minutes....no games, no BS. Regrettably, the color /option package did come together so I didn't buy the car there, but this is the guy to get it done. I did use their price elsewhere though....... More
