We purchased our 740il, new. from Fields. Our experience has been OUTSTANDING since day 1. Being an "Automotive Family" we've maintained a close relationship with Dave Mc Culloch, Gen Mgr, Jerry Marichal, has been OUTSTANDING since day 1. Being an "Automotive Family" we've maintained a close relationship with Dave Mc Culloch, Gen Mgr, Jerry Marichal, Assist. Serv. Mgr. as well as some of the lead mechanics. Your whole whole operation have always been FIRST CLASS in our books. "Are you being helped, or have you been helped?" is often asked by the folks at Fields. You folks care and that's comforting. I happen to have a vehicle being serviced by your competitor (MB). They should come to some of your "Nice Guy Classes." They would learn a lot. Buy another family vehicle? If it's for my wife again, it'll be here and down the street. P.Z. More
Horrible service and they tried ripping me off! My Horrible service and they tried ripping me off! My first experience with the dealer was over phone. I called them on a Friday around 5pm, asking if Horrible service and they tried ripping me off! My first experience with the dealer was over phone. I called them on a Friday around 5pm, asking if a certified pre-owned BMW 328xi was still for sale and if I could take it for a test drive. The sales person told me it was still available, and that I could take it for a test dive but I "...shouldn't plan on buying it tonight". WOW!!! So the dealer didn't want to sell me their car because they must have had better plans for Friday night (they weren't going to close for another 3 hours). When I did make it to the dealership a week later, I noticed the certified pre-owned BMW 328xi headlight washers did not retract after use, and that the front passenger door did not align to the body. The sales person told me; "The headlight washers are a know issue on BMW's; no one uses that feature anyways. The issue with the door is just a matter of tightening a latch, it isn't a big issue." When I asked him how can the car pass BMW-s certification process with a bad door, the sales person said, “The program focuses on the engine and the parts under the car, they don't look at the door." BS on both points! BMW does not have issues with the headlight washers; door latches do not loosen over time, and inspecting the body of the car is a major part of the BMW certification process. Do not trust this dealership! If you need a BWM go to Knauz in Highland Park, Bill Jacobs, or Patrick BMW. More
After one time of a disappointing service a couple years back I decided to give them a shot again and take my car in for a simple oil change. Scheduled an appointment at noon and got there 11:55. After bein back I decided to give them a shot again and take my car in for a simple oil change. Scheduled an appointment at noon and got there 11:55. After being inside the service area for about 15 minutes and not being helped by anyone I approached a gentleman working there myself. Found out the price I was told over the phone was 30 less then what I'm actually going to have to pay yet still decided to go with it. 1:30pm on the clock and my car still isn't done. After all I got my car ready at 1:50. Horrible service and time. Since I am a handy person myself I do know for a fact that oil change doesn't take more then 20 minutes and that's in the around the house environment. Definitely never coming here again and I advise anyone who needs service on their "ultimate driving machine" to find themselves a place where they value your time More
I've been going to Field's BMW since I bought my first BMW. I have always had a great experience at their shop. They go out of their way to explain what's being done and why. The mechanic's are first rate BMW. I have always had a great experience at their shop. They go out of their way to explain what's being done and why. The mechanic's are first rate and the repairs are always done on time. They've even added a chef in the morning that makes breakfast while you're waiting for you car to be finished. They've always been very fair on their pricing with me and have just instituted a mileage club that gives a 15% discount for service on high mileage BMW's, which saves me a lot of money. More
The people at Fields BMW could not have been more helpful than they were. They, and I mean everyone, who I had contact with truly wanted me to be absolutly satisfied regarding my exchange of cars 2008 650 fo than they were. They, and I mean everyone, who I had contact with truly wanted me to be absolutly satisfied regarding my exchange of cars 2008 650 for a 2010 650. My 2008 car could not be fixed properly and along with BMW the Fields organization set out to make me happy, and they did. I would recommend Fields to anybody looking for a car that they sell. I wish them the very best! More
I took my x5 in to repair the thermostat and exhaust sensors, which were very expensive to repair. When i picked up the car a few days later, my car was in the worst shape of its life. Driving the car sensors, which were very expensive to repair. When i picked up the car a few days later, my car was in the worst shape of its life. Driving the car back home, the car began to overheat and the acceleration was terrible. Turned out that my coolant resivoir was damaged. I've never had any problems with overheating issues until I took my car to Fields. I had Fields tow my car back to the dealership. The service adviser tried to charge me 500 bucks to fix the problem. I've read some forum posts regarding my problem, and I discovered that people who took their cars to fields encountered the exact same bogus problem. Hmmm, VERY SUSPICIOUS. These guys f***ked with my car, thinking that they could take advantage of a young customer. P.S. When I discovered the heating issues, I left several messages to my service advisor: none of my messages were returned. I had to call at least 20 times in order until I finally came in contact with my service advisor. More
I have driven 6000 miles in my certified BMW used car in a year and a half period of time. The car is a convertible and has been garaged kept and stored four months every year. I brought it to be service a year and a half period of time. The car is a convertible and has been garaged kept and stored four months every year. I brought it to be serviced in July under the "year maintainance warranty." They told me that they changed the oil (they did not) and that my car was in good condition. After three months I brought it in for oil change (325.00) and they told me my certified used car (that I bought a year and a half ago) needs tons of work. After only 6000 hwy miles, they want me to pay (now that the warranty has lapsed) for brakes, tires, some sort of coolant "issue" and the oil filters. It is obviously a scam! Why would I need to pay thousands of dollars in service for a car I purchased a year and a half ago! IT HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN 6000 MILES! THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM! But they pride themselves on offering breakfast when you walk into their service. SCAM More
I walked in with a family member who was looking to test drive a BMW X3. The salesman, who was very undereducated about BMW, said there were no X3s. I told him to check again. He came back with a filthy X3 drive a BMW X3. The salesman, who was very undereducated about BMW, said there were no X3s. I told him to check again. He came back with a filthy X3 which had JUST been offloaded a truck after coming from Germany. It was disgusting. Also, it had LESS THAN ONE GALLON OF FUEL IN THE TANK. We had to stop at a gas station so they could full it up. When I asked about the car, he proceded to read off all the options the car had, not even telling us any features. It was the worse test drive ever. I then told him about my car, and told him the model name and trim level (I will not mention it here for privacy). Anyways, the BMW I have was just redesigned, and it has a unique model trim, which is quite obvious. He then asked me, "what year is it?" I repeated the model and trim, and told him it was only made for one year. He hadn't a clue. Meanwhile, @ the dealer, his desk faces the model I have. He said he just transferred from Toyota two months ago, and he didn't know about BMW. I asked him why, but he did not give a response. At that point, we walked out. Never, ever, ever buy a BMW from Fields BMW. It is not worth it. More

I call Fields and service plus the other extras. 1400 dollars. Get car home Monday evening park it until Wednesday morning, pool of fluid under car! I call Fields and I'm told to bring it in on Thurday 7 am. I report at 7 am, grease xxxxxx looks a car 8 am. I'm told the anti freeze resevoir is leaking. I authorize replacement. Car is poorly washed and delivered to the front door. I pay 240 dollars. I check under hood and find the fan cowling broken. They deny any responsibilty. How that for service? BMW engineers a grat car and it's too bad Fields BMW can't service them properly. More
