Simply put... NOT Good Service Ferman Mini of Tampa Bay’s Service dept is not accessible or responsive to its customers – even its loyal customers. It took one week (5 business d Ferman Mini of Tampa Bay’s Service dept is not accessible or responsive to its customers – even its loyal customers. It took one week (5 business days) to finally connect with someone in Service to see if I should have our car brought up to Palm Harbor or get the 2.5-year battery replaced in Sarasota (btw, no one ever called me back despite numerous voicemail/other messages I left… I had to keep calling back). Once I learned the battery replacement would be under warranty for a 2017 Countryman, I then had to wait an add'l 3 days to finally connect with someone in Scheduling to learn that Ferman Mini could not pick up a "dead car" in Sarasota and that I had to use Roadside Assistance (who was very helpful). Once our car was picked up/ arrived at Ferman, Courtney in service assured me that car would be the first one in the following day and would be done by mid-day (as there were no other cars in the queue). The following day, Courtney call to let me know our battery replacement was NOT covered under warranty b/c the car has to be driven an average of 100 miles/week and we averaged 93 miles. Hmmm. Still, car was on-track to be finished by mid-day on December 31st. Based on that schedule confirmation with Courtney, I set up a complimentary Uber ride via Roadside Asst. Then I tried 12 times to connect with Service from 11:25am-12:55pm to confirm our car was ready – 12 times! Either no one at Ferman's Main Operator line answered or in the Mini Service dept -- NO ONE! Once I got ahold of Courtney after 1.5 hours of trying, she informed me they had run out of batteries and a truck that was supposedly delivering more batteries had not yet shown up... so my car would not be ready until Jan 2 (as Jan 1 was a holiday). However, Courtney assured me she would call me by the end of the day on Dec 31 to update me on the status of our car. No surprise, NO call from Courtney. On Jan 2nd - no one called to let me know our car was ready. I had to call Service to learn it was finally finished. Once I learned our car was ready, I then called Roadside Assistance to initiate another complimentary Uber to take us to Ferman Mini. Our previous complimentary Uber via Roadside Assistance had “expired” on Dec 31st because our car was not finished. I then learned Roadside Asst couldn't re-initiate another complimentary Uber so we paid $117.75 of our own money to get to Ferman Mini to pick up our car. Net, a terrible customer experience. And to think, this is our THIRD Mini we have bought from Ferman Mini of Tampa Bay. Strongly questioning if we will ever buy a fourth (despite how good Ryan George in Sales is ) PS: Raven in Scheduling really tried to help me… several times, she was the only “live” person I could get ahold of. More

1st experience there was great. I was greeted at my car and walked inside to my service person that knew who I was. When I asked them if my appointment was too much for them to handle since it was New Years Eve they seemed fine with the lack of professionalism I was dealing with. I had to go into the service managers office to explain to him why I was so taken back by their poor customer service. He was great. He turned everything around. More
I stopped in just to take advantage of the complimentary car wash for the first time. I was greeted by a nice young man and he escorted me to where the waiting area was located and explained there were bage car wash for the first time. I was greeted by a nice young man and he escorted me to where the waiting area was located and explained there were bagels and coffee etc. I decided to see if my sales person, David Soto was in to say hi and tell him thank you for the reminder about taking advantage of the car wash. He asked if I was enjoying my new car. (I love it!) He told me if I ever have any questions about things in my car to see a “Genius” and walked me to where they are located. It happened to be Kenny Russell. Kenny had spent a good amount of time with me right after I got the car, going over bells and whistles. He was so informative and professional!! The next thing I know, the young man (I wish I remembered his name) came to let me know my car was ready. I don’t think it was 30 minutes. I was so pleased. So far our experience with Ferman BMW after being loyal Lexus customers for over 20 years has been amazing. More
