Very disappointed. We have been loyal patrons for years. Spent thousands of dollars there. Thinking that going there for service for our Ford F250 Diesel was doing the We have been loyal patrons for years. Spent thousands of dollars there. Thinking that going there for service for our Ford F250 Diesel was doing the best to keep our truck in good mechanical shape. After our last experience- I will not be going back for any future services ever again. I was quoted an astronomically high estimate for a repair that could not be actually done because of unavailability of a part. My disappointment was that they offered nothing except to leave the vehicle there for 2-3 months broke down in hopes of getting a part eventually. I took my vehicle to a local private diesel mechanic for a second opinion because doing nothing was not an option. The real mechanic was able to accurately diagnose the problem and fix my vehicle. Turns out what Ferman Ford thought was the problem wasn’t the problem at all. Ford mechanics are trained to replace parts that flag codes on the diagnostic computer analyzer. When the problem becomes more complicated they are unable or unwilling or untrained or do not truly understand the mechanics of the engine to address the issue. I don’t know if this is due to lack of training, time, care or lack of passion for understanding the mechanics of a diesel engine. I will be forever thankful for finding the shop where I ended up. I will never be going back to Ferman Ford. And if anyone reading this owns a diesel truck - find somewhere else to go for service. My truck is now running perfectly ! - 1 week later after its terminal diagnosis by Ferman Ford. More

Ferman has a really helpful set up for extended services-they actually pick up and drop off your vehicle. In my case this was definitely a "bonus" as I could keep on with the things I needed to acc services-they actually pick up and drop off your vehicle. In my case this was definitely a "bonus" as I could keep on with the things I needed to accomplish that day with with our interruption. There was a minor misunderstanding with a portion of the service that was handled well by Stephen Nardone (I really appreciate his efforts). I was able to obtain a pretty extensive service for my truck in advance of required mileage (I have a couple of long distance drives coming up) that will provide me peace of mind while on the road. I have also noted a specific increase in my mileage (it's tracked on. my instrument cluster so it's not a "guessing game") after the service which is very helpful. More
