Literally caused physical harm I came in to test drive a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, having been excited for the vehicle for some time and having test drive the previous yea I came in to test drive a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, having been excited for the vehicle for some time and having test drive the previous year's model. David Colvin was the salesperson who arranged the appointment. During the test drive, I realized that it was not the vehicle for me. Mr. Colvin then convinced me to drive a very-slightly-used JKU (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited), Anniversary Edition, with a lift installed. The beginning of the test drive seemed to go ok, and I liked it- until fire ants swarmed out from under the mats and on the vents, and I sustained multiple fire ant bites over my feet and hands. At this time, I was driving, my wife was in the passenger seat, and Mr. Colvin and a new employee were in the back. I was furious. My hands and feet swelled up terribly, and Mr. Colvin immediately disappeared when we got back to the dealership. Eventually, the manager (Michael Patrikis) came out and spoke to us. Unlike the previous salesperson, he was knowledgable about Jeeps, their capability, and their history. He was professional and appropriate. Unfortunately, following this, I never received any followup calls or surveys to see how I was doing- this is the standard after any test drives at any other dealership I've been to- and it took me over a month to get a hold of someone at the dealership. I eventually bought a new Jeep from another dealership in the area. More
