New car purchase Over the Momorial Day Weekend we had stopped in to look at cars at Ferman Chevrolet Tarpon. After discussing with Chance Hatcher that our interests were in a Dodge Charger he immediately made a phone call and suggested we go to the Chrysler store in New Port Richey to see Jason Widden. After meeting a diligent Mr. Whidden, we were soon leaving in our new 2016 Dodge Charger.(the one we wanted) Point: never have I experienced a sales man give up a sale to another store to get the customer what they want, and not try to presure or sell us something else. If you are looking to buy any make of car, new or used, I suggest you make Ferman Cheverolet and Chance Hatcher your first stop! More
DISHONEST .after we got home, and reviewed all the paperwork, we realized we did not receive the trade in amount they promised, or the interest rate. then after .after we got home, and reviewed all the paperwork, we realized we did not receive the trade in amount they promised, or the interest rate. then after making a few payments, we realized the amount of the loan, and interest being charged. $400.00 a month of our monthly payment was going to interest......we could have got a better rate from a loan shark...when i asked jay for help he was not so pleasant anymore, in fact he was quite arrogant, and said you should read the fine print next time...totally disgusted with him, and chance for lying to us...we thought these guys were honest, but i see they are all the same... Lied to My husband and I came into buy ME a car, somewhere in the process they told us that because my credit score was higher they needed to put my husbands My husband and I came into buy ME a car, somewhere in the process they told us that because my credit score was higher they needed to put my husbands name first and me be second to get the loan approved, we let every single sales person Zach, Jay, Chase, all of them that my husband does NOT have a driver's license, never will and is deemed uninsurable, are they sure it's ok to put his name first and will it help MY credit score even thought I'm the second signed, something very important to me? They all assured me it would be ok to have him on the registration and yes it will still help MY credit. Turns out it's not ok and it doesn't help me at all, got a letter from Tax collectors saying the licence plate I owned for 5yrs was transferred into my husbands name and because he is uninsurable the plate was revoked...I spent hours at the DMV and on the phone with the lender...and ended up having to pay over $400 to change the lending into my name soley and have my plate reinstated and registered, I had to pay the registration TWICE because they put it only in his name! To top it all for I've been pulled over twice because the plate was registered to an uninsureable driver...I know that my husbands issues are troublesome, but we were upfront with every single one of them and they completely screwed me over by registering the car I came into buy in his name. Very disappointed :( More
Pro mechanics dont know how to change a taillight bulb I brought my 1986 corvette in to have a tail light bulb changed, along with an oil change. I dont know what kind of service dept this is if I have to I brought my 1986 corvette in to have a tail light bulb changed, along with an oil change. I dont know what kind of service dept this is if I have to tell the mechanic how to open the hood. Then another mechanic tried to change the tail light bulb, but didnt know how to do that. Again, I had to stop him from damaging my car and I had to explain to him how to do it. He then laughed at me and walked away. I spoke to management along with the service manager and they both checked out my vehicle. The service manager then refused to fix my car. A professional dealership doesnt know how to fix simple things. Maybe they should check out how to change a tail light bulb on You Tube like I did without damaging a customers car. I tried to get ahold of Mr. Ferman himself to tell him what this newly remodeled dealership is doing, But I was told by Ferman management that this was impossible and Mr. Ferman will not talk to me. Please dont use this dealership for any purpose. Now I take my chevy to Karl Flamer Ford for repairs. Boy are they Good..... More
