Service department has gone downhill. 08 Chevy 2500 Silverado had to be taken back again for the same issue as two weeks ago. Was there all day long and Francisco never kept me informed and even though I had an appointment by 5pm still no word on my truck then I find out that they are not scheduling services for diesel trucks. Their customer service has gone down and I have been bringing my truck here for 16 years. Will be finding another service location More
From my most recent experience, the people are nice (the older woman in the cashier's cage and my advisor Anthony) but there has been much that I have wanted to discuss that I am not pleased with at Ferman. older woman in the cashier's cage and my advisor Anthony) but there has been much that I have wanted to discuss that I am not pleased with at Ferman. I'd rather have this conversation in person than by this method but it seems like the only option right now. 1. What is the purpose of having an appointment? In December 2023, the first of a series of repair actions centered around my brakes on my Tahoe. The indicator on my dash said that my brakes were in need of changing and I had a trip to make the weekend before New Years Day, so I requested whatever was needed for ANY of the brakes and I replaced two tires. For this appointment I also requested a shuttle ride home but was told that it was unavailable. Being that I had an appointment I did not think that it would require a large amount of time for this particular maintenance, but it took EIGHT hours before I was able to leave with my vehicle. This was unbelievable and unacceptable. After the procedure, I took my trip, and everything SEEMED okay though. 2. My BRAKES...Approximately April-May 2024 timeframe, I began to hear my brakes squealing. Now, my brakes were squealing but there was even squealing going on AS I WAS DRIVING. After experiencing this unexpected noise, I RECORDED this horrible noise, went to the dealership and got into the maintenance/service line. While there, I played multiple recordings of the noise for a service advisor to hear, and he said that it sounded like something that needed to have a diagnostic test done to determine the problem. I went in to schedule a same day appointment and was able to (on a Friday) but I needed my car back by Monday morning but was told that the vehicle wouldn't even be seen until Monday. So, I had to go but came back the following week and got the diagnostic test done. The test revealed that I needed the second pair of brakes/rotors to be done so I got them done. By the time that I received my vehicle, there was maybe an hour left before closing and I was only down the street on US-60 when I heard the squealing again. I called Ferman and told them what had happened. On the call, my advisor of the day, Anthony, trying to solve the problem, read back my service history including the brake job done in December and he noted that no brake fluid exchange had occurred. Another advisor (Jeremy I think) got on the call asked me to bring the car back the next day, but I had no option to do so because I had to work the following three days. After doing much research I discovered that a) after looking through several car forums, a law enforcement officer stated that their ENTIRE Tahoe fleet made still made squealing noises during braking throughout their lifetime, which I thought was ridiculous but maybe believable and b) that every time a brake job is done on a vehicle that a brake fluid exchange/replacement should take place. I believed that the latter HAD TO BE the reason I was still hearing the noise so I returned to Ferman to have the brake fluid exchange done in hopes that it would remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I still hear the squealing on occasion and inconsistently (at least there is no squealing while the vehicle is in motion anymore). I feel like if I buy the premier Tahoe (High Country) at $73K plus, I should really have no issues with my vehicle. I love my vehicle, but it is embarrassing riding around in such a nice vehicle with that noise...I just want my car fixed... More

if you want your vehicle returned from a recall service with greasy hand-prints this is the place to go. also you will be able to complete their work by adding more coolant and DEF after because the syste with greasy hand-prints this is the place to go. also you will be able to complete their work by adding more coolant and DEF after because the systems were not properly pressurized. also a great place to get "lip service" from the service personnel...managers included. Another garbage Chevy dealership, this time, they refused work on the Chevy Truck, because it was worked on by another dealer within the last 2 months. They are unwilling to fix it , and its under warranty. work on the Chevy Truck, because it was worked on by another dealer within the last 2 months. They are unwilling to fix it , and its under warranty. Never had this problem with other car makers, Ford, BMW, Audi, Toyota, Honda, all had no problems working on vehicles under warranty, even if it was touched by another Chevy dealer. They basically wasted my time, and refused to fix it. Their answer below this post only assures you that you will be lead down a dustry trail of tears with them. Their answer was for me to pay for the repairs, not the dealership, they aren't willing to rectify this situation. They will make you take your car elsewhere and refuse the warranty work working it out with the dealership themselves. It also goes to show you that Chevy won't standby their product and they will pass the buck the minute they have to work on it either from other CERTIFIED CHEVY DEALERS. Dealers should have to work with Chevy and not the customer to Negotiate warranty claims . Jeep doesnt do this, BMW doesnt do this, Audi doesnt do this, Toyota doesn't do this, I can go on. So before you buy a Chevy, understand that they will make you take it back to the original dealer where it was worked on, tell you to call their Customer Service (who is very rude and echos the same unprofessional behavior) and then tell you that even if you were out of state, that you are SOL on that and you would need to go to the original DEALER lol . They are out of their minds, both the Dealers and the CHEVY in general. So think about this before you buy another Chevy from not only this dealer but in general from GM. More
Bought a truck in September of 2022 and it has spent 144 days in the service department for problems and is going back today because check engine light is with transmission code again. Dealer needs to buy days in the service department for problems and is going back today because check engine light is with transmission code again. Dealer needs to buy truck back and reimburse me my down payment as well as payments made while it was in their shop. I am going to contact the news stations and make sure they tell my story of how this dealership treats their customers and what kind of junk they sell you. More
Brought car in for 7500 mile service including oil and transmission change with filters. They said both were done. When I got home did not see transmission fluid on service ticket. Had to travel back agai transmission change with filters. They said both were done. When I got home did not see transmission fluid on service ticket. Had to travel back again to get it done. Dealer charges double for transmission fluid and filter compared to others. Over $1600 for this service is outrageous considering they did not even do it correctly. Beware of this dealer saying they did the work agreed on versus what they actually did and what they charge. Labor $200/HR is comical! More
