Ferman Chevrolet is AWESOME! I have had the most amazing and stress-free experience with them while purchasing my new Chevy Cruze. I have been trying for over a year now to purchase a new, dependable, and e and stress-free experience with them while purchasing my new Chevy Cruze. I have been trying for over a year now to purchase a new, dependable, and economic vehicle. I have credit issues, so it has been grueling and full of rejection. A friend referred me to Ferman and Danny Buchler, the Sales Manager. She has purchased several vehicles from them and she said they would really work hard to get me in a car, that they were honest and fair. WOW! She was so right! As soon as I pulled into the dealership Danny came right up and greeted me. He was so friendly and seemed genuinely excited that I was there. He introduced me to Gabriel Tavarez and explained that Gabe would help me get the process started and show me some vehicles. Gabe was fabulous! He was so pleasant and patient with me. He answered all my never ending questions, and even asked me some. For example, he asked me what I was looking for in a car. With credit issues, I have always been directed to a specific vehicle, usually the cheapest one on the lot, and told that is the only car I qualify for. Not at Ferman! He showed me different cars, and options, and helped me determine what I really needed and wanted. And once I selected a vehicle and the “numbers crunch” began, Gabe stayed with me the whole time. He didn’t leave me sitting at a desk for 2 hours like most dealerships do. I felt respected, and like they appreciated that I was there and they wanted to be sure I didn’t experience any frustration while waiting. At ALL other places I have been I have always felt like I was a beggar and that they are doing me the favor. Danny worked with Jeff in the Finance office, and they put together a deal for me. They had a few questions and came to me and they both talked to me and showed me how it was working and what I was looking at. They SHOWED me... they didn’t just tell me “We can do this”, they explained how they were going to make this deal work for me, and they wanted to make sure I understood and was happy with it. I was! And I am! Even the end process of signing paperwork was awesome. Jeff didn’t act like a robot going through the tons of pages to sign, he was friendly and kept it fun, if that’s possible haha. I would recommend Ferman Chevrolet to anyone and everyone – they are the best dealership out there hands down. More
I had been telling my dad I want a new Camaro.. So today he woke me up and said son your about to get you license. Lets go get a car. So Im excited to get a Camaro, my dad said son how about the baby Camaro. i said what is that he said a Cruze. I was a little disappointed. But heck Im happy to have a new car. Boy my dad beat Ed up on the price. But Ed just kept laughing . If you want a fun, non pushy salesman go see Ed. The mgrs were cool too. While my dad was doing paperwork,.. The short Mgr talked baseball with me. I liked that because I was thinking he wouldnt come out of his office. He even gave me tickets to a baseball game.. FERMAN CHEVY ROCKS.... More
On August 2nd, we purchased our new vehicle from Julio Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez deserves a rating of 5 or better because of the following reasons. First, I have to say how pleased we were with his professionalism, knowledge of inventory, stock, and vehicle information. He was extremely friendly but not over bearing. He answered all our questions and gave us all the informed information we needed to make our purchase that day. He worked with us on exploring all options and took time with us so we felt comfortable in proceeding with our purchase, despite other customers at the dealership. He gave us his full undivided attention from the beginning until we drove our new vehicle out the door. He was an extreme pleasure to work with and buy our Chevrolet Avalanche truck from. We would not hesitate to buy from him again and the Tampa dealership. He is an asset to the Ferman family and Mr. Ferman can be proud of Mr. Hernandez to represent his name and dealership. The car was listed for 12,998 on internet, they raised the price 4,000 the day before we drove to see it. We were told over the phone that the price would be honored. When we arrived they negotiated back and forth and would not honor the internet price stating that it was there computer programs mistake. In the process they lied numerous times about the trade in price and profit that they would be making. Honesty and integrity were definitely lacking in this dealership. More
WE CAME TO FERMAN JUST TO LOOK AND COMPARE. BILL JONES MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND WAS NON-PUSHY. HE SHOWED US THE TYPE VEHICLE WE WERE LOOKING FOR, TOK US FOR A TEST DRIVE, ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTI MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND WAS NON-PUSHY. I have been with him on the two of the three occasion that we did purchase a car from Ferman. I can honestly say that it was a great experience,althought its a very long process. We initialy started think we definitley going with a Tahoe and when that didnt work out and after telling William that I wasnt interested in anything else, I didnt want to purchases another cross over or small SUV (being closed minded)but he and Susan convinced me to at least LOOK at the Traverse. I must say I was speechless. I never,ever thought a that this SUV was bigger than my Dodge Journey, that it was going to meet our needs. It definitely has and I ams SO very happy that we didnt get the Tahoe. I now know it would have been too much truck for me to drive. Please know both William and Susan are wonderful,patient, sales people and we left knowing we were treated fairly and honestly. Everyone we meet through out this buying process was professional and friendly. I will also recommend Ferman to anyone in the market of buying a car. More than any other reason... we went with the Chevy Equinox because of John Givens. Of course we had to love the car we were purchasing but the way John dealt with us made it easier for us. We were already irritated with most of the sales consultants from the other dealerships... but John was different. He answered our questions but gave us space. Something especially impressive to us was that he never spoke badly of the cars from other makers. He helped us see the pros and cons to both cars we were looking at from Chevy and didn't try to steer us to a more expensive vehicle or to get "extras" we didn't need. He would simply inform us of what would come with each model. His patients was so very much appreciated. We went back to the dealership about 4-5 times to look at the car and be sure of what we wanted....John was always there and didn't seem to be irritated with our taking our time. He always seemed happy to see us and encouraged us to be sure of what we wanted to purchase and to not rush it. He never pressured us any of the times we went. How different he was from the other sales reps we dealt with. He made the closing of the deal as painless as one could be. All the way through having "OnStar" set up for us. He sat in the car with us after we had purchased the car and re-explained all the functions of the car before we drove off the lot. We've had our car for a little over a week and are loving it so far. We would most definitely recommend the Equinox and most definitely recommend John to be the one to deal with.
