This is my 4th Jeep purchase from this dealership. Chuck was very friendly and answered all questions we asked. I know my father can be a handful to deal with at times, but Chuck was respectful and patient towards him answering all questions thoroughly asked. He calculated the costs for a lease for several time frames. My dad was also trading in a car and was given a great trade in price. Chuck let us know that we had the option of taking a check for the trade in or paying for the lease in full with the trade in (receive the difference in a check). He offered us coffee or water while we waited for his trade in to be appraised and things to get approved. We had gone to the Chrysler dealership on telegraph in Taylor and our treatment was the exact opposite. We were never greeted, even though there were many sales associates standing around . We actually had to go to the counter and ask for an associate. He reluctantly took us for a test drive of the Journey and had no problem showing his disappointment with an audible Oh, when he was told that we were looking at leasing a new car within the month. Mind you it was Saturday, October 26. We finished the test drive I asked him for a business card and he said he didn't have any, but that his name was Tom. He pretty much left us standing there and never thanked us or made us feel welcomed . I realize that it was a cold and windy day, however, it's his job! We stood there for several minutes expecting him to return but nope we had to ask the lady at the counter if there were more cars on display inside and she directed us to the showroom in back. It was back there that my dad saw the Chrysler 200. Even without test driving it my dad really liked it. Since we had been treated so poorly here and I knew there was another Chrysler dealership in Woodhaven, off we went. There we met Chuck Shivel and let me tell you we were greeted immediately and warmly by Chuck. He was absolutely great during the test drive, very patient with my 75 year old father. He seated us and offered both of us coffee or water . My father noticed the difference between dealerships immediately. I would highly recommend Chuck Shivel and the Mcinerney dealership to everyone.
