It feels like this dealership pulled a classic bait and switch on me. I found a specific new car that I wanted at this dealership and called them and found out it was available. So a day or two later I make the hour drive out there but confirmed with the salesman that it was available right before I left and she said it was. The car was in transit and I needed to make a deposit and have my trade in evaluated. So I show up and she starts asking me if I’d be interested in other colors and I asked her if something happened to the car I wanted. She eventually admits that it was sold and keeps showing me similar cars and I said no to all of them. I wanted the car that I drove out here for and was told twice that it was available. She then tells me to hold on and goes to make some calls or something and after a little bit she comes and tells me that she was able to get the customer with a deposit on the car I wanted to switch to a different colored one. I made my deposit and left. Fast forward two weeks and I get the call that my car came in. Right away I notice that the vin number is different and it turns out that I somehow wound up getting one of the similar cars that I said I didn’t want. I’m out of options at this point so I go to check it out and this dealership did a terrible job prepping this car. She sent me a picture of it being washed and in the picture you can see the ground is dry around the car and they’re handwashing it. They didn’t even spray the car down before they starting scrubbing it. The paint and plastic are full of scratches. The dealer also installed black bowties and they left the adhesive on the car and put the rear one over it. The trim around the front emblem is gouged too. I didn’t buy the car because of this, but now the 2023 model year no longer comes in the color I want, is more expensive and will take months to arrive. My trade in will likely be worth less by then too. I also wasted a lot of my time and has money driving out there and back twice and even used my vacation days to do so. This was by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. More

It started as just another routine day of taking my son's car in for an oil change (he's a night shift EMT & can't commit to appointments that are usually at least 2 weeks out). Ahead of the appointment, I g car in for an oil change (he's a night shift EMT & can't commit to appointments that are usually at least 2 weeks out). Ahead of the appointment, I get an email from "Akilah Love" asking if I was looking to upgrade & saying they were "OVER paying" for early lease returns. The lease wasn't up for another 10 months so I figured there was "no way anything could happen." I suppose because I was bored, I went ahead & replied that I'd be willing to discuss options if the price was right. After the oil change (which went quicker than usual), I wandered into the showroom & met with Dan Provenzola. After his initial offer (which I politely rejected), he says "tell me what you need" in terms of monthly payments, down payments, & lease terms. I gave him my target and...he said OK! I really couldn't believe it & was not expecting to walk out of a service call with a new car! Kudos to team "Dan Provenzola, Vera Shabi & Ethan Murray" who collectively made the impossible POSSIBLE! This morning I made a phone call and was lucky enough to get Dan Provenzola as my consultant. He was incredibly helpful and got me taken care of in a couple hours. Well it started with a car I saw on Kelly Blue Book and I saw a bolt euv for sale which is very uncommon at this time so I asked for more information. I was contacted by Heather, (customer relations agent) Iol inquired about this car and said are you sure you have it and she assured me its available. Im 2.5 hours away and was stoked to finally find this car and at an incredible price. I asked if she was sure it was the right car and price and sent her the picture and she assured me it was. I made an appointment for 6pm and before I left I called and asked if I could make a deposit over the phone or how do I hold it. She told me I had to physically show up with pay stubs and my license. I asked if there was anyway around this and said no you have to come. So we started driving up to Michigan and I arrived at 6pm. When I walked in I was met by a woman who I thought was Heather and she asked if I had appointment. I said yes with Heather at 6pm. She stated that Heather works from home and I said ok and gave her the details. Viola said that they do not have this vehicle at this time and that there was no need to drive up there as I could have ordered one over the phone. She said Heather shouldnt have done this. I had a feeling it was a bait and switch before I left and should have went with my gut but as a UAW chairman I was confident that a real Chevy dealership would not do something like this. So as we were sitting there I was so upset and the lady turned me over to her assistant to order a new 2023 bolt euv that may take a year to get, this assistant didnt do anything wrong but this experience has made me lose faith in basic human nature. I have never complained or had something like this happen in my life ecspecially driving 150 miles to look at a car when gas prices are 525 a gallon. Luckily my wife was with me and asked if they could do anything for our troubles and Viola said she would check. My wife and I then went out to lot to look at a 2022 bolt that couldnt be sold due to a recall and walked back in and my wife had to ask again if they give gas cards or anything. Thats when Sean came out with a 50 dollar gift card and said so sorry. It shouldnt have been us having to ask 2 times to get something like this. As a UAW Chairman who travels the country to conferences and retreats and UAW blacklake for the union I am going to make it my mission to tell everyone I know about this experience and spread the word to all of my Detroit brothers and sisters to stay away from this place. They had no idea who I was as I didnt give that info away while I was there except for saying I had GM employee discount. They assumed I was a regular guy that from the sounds of the reviews do this quite a bit to. I am not a petty person by any means. I am a decent kind and usually very forgiving person but as I said this was just over the top. I feel bad for all the people that will be hearing my rant over and over but people need to stay away from this place at all costs. More
I took my car in for Chek engine light. They did some testing charging me $150.00 than told me I needed over $3,200.00 worth of work done on my car. I will never go back to Feldman Chevy. So sad that they treat thier customers so poorly. More
