Classic bait and switch. We had spent all afternoon negotiating the sale of a new Chevy Volt, finally agreeing to a price. However, once the final contract was shown to me (several hours later), they h negotiating the sale of a new Chevy Volt, finally agreeing to a price. However, once the final contract was shown to me (several hours later), they had tacked on over $1,000 in additional fees that I was not told about. The fees, alone, were not the deal-breaker. Frankly, I would have paid them had they been straight forward with me from the start. Do not tell me one price then right when we are about to go through with the deal, tack on an additional $1,000+ in fees. I stepped outside the dealership for a moment to think about this deceptive behavior, then decided to call Bill Fox Chevrolet in Rochester that had the same exact car (just in a different color). Mike at Bill Fox not only honored the original price I had negotiated at Marty Feldman, but he actually gave me a lower final sales price. When I went back into Marty Feldman, Bob (the salesperson) and several other employees started to raise their voices at me saying I had wasted everyone's time. Well, my time is just as valuable and had they been straight forward with me in negotiating the price, I would have purchased the car right then and there. Don't give me one price then change it at the last minute. Not to mention, you should never lose your temper at a customer. Had Bob been straight forward with the cost/fees, it would have been fine. But he wasn't and tried to hide it at the very end until I read the contract right before signing. Not to mention Bob and the manager had tried to explain to me how those fees were non-waivable fees. Yet when I left the dealership they quickly told me they would cut them in half. I said I wasn't interested. Then when I was on my way to Bill Fox,someone else called me and told me he could waive the fees altogether. After thinking about it, I was just not interested in purchasing a car from a deceptive dealership. Mike at Bill Fox still was lower than Marty Feldman's lowest offer (and he was honest about it). I will never return to this dealership and would never recommend a friend. I'm glad I purchased a new Chevy Volt from Bill Fox, rather than Marty Feldman. More
Basically a bunch of liars. We were told our used vehicle was still under manufacturers warranty before we signed, then afterwards they said it was not. When we took it for a test drive I told them it pulled was still under manufacturers warranty before we signed, then afterwards they said it was not. When we took it for a test drive I told them it pulled a little to the left. Barry said they would put in a new steering gear box and that his mechanic would go over every inch of the car before we took delivery. We took posession of the vehicle and a month later the wheel bearings started making noise. This was the cause of the "pulling to the left" in the first place. When I took it to be repaired by a mechanic I trust, he said he always fixes cars bought from Feldman and the customers are angry at the way they were cheated and lied to. I have put over $1,000 in repairs into this car in less than a year. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS! More
Brittany was very helpful with helping us choose the right car for us. She was friendly and spend the extra time with us, and making sure that it was the right color that my wife wanted. Even though the dealer was very busy, she offered food and a drink for my family during the paperwork process. I purchased a new 2011 Camaro from Marty Feldman and took it in for service. I waited at the Dealer. The car was returned and was told that the work was complete. They would mail the paper work to me. I left it in for service. I waited at the Dealer. The car was returned and was told that the work was complete. They would mail the paper work to me. I left the dealer and the car had the same problem. I turned around and drove back to the dealer and asked what they did. Jeff asked the tech and said there was nothing he could do about the issue. Before I went to the dealer I had printed off the TSB and instruction for fixing the issue. I was sit in the car in the service drive through when the tech said "now what" to Jeff and told him that "this is one of those guys who spends too much time on the internet." I left Marty Feldman and took my car to Tennyson the next day. Tennyson reviewed the documents (TSB), order the part. 3 days later they called to tell me the part arrived and I took the car in and they fixed the issue. Simple and easy. Tennyson is a drive for me but they have nice people that respect there customers and pay attention to the details. My wife’s 2010 Malibu was damaged in an accident she took to Marty Feldman’s body shop becease it was the closest deal to her office. The parts were ordered and the car was dropped off for repair. The car was promised in 5 to 7 working days. 10 days later the car was ready for pick up. The car was not cleaned, there was tape residue on it, the trunk was full of old tape, paper, dust and other debris. The inside was covered in dust. Left the car there for another day them to clean up. More
Worst dealer ever! Took my 2 month old camaro in for sevice.After they performed the factory recal, they left the parking brake off and smashed my car. Then I had to raise xxxx to get them to replae the sevice.After they performed the factory recal, they left the parking brake off and smashed my car. Then I had to raise xxxx to get them to replae the rear bumper instead of just filling it in.End result; I have a paint job with sevral inperfectins in the paint and a cheap apology, but the car will never be the same again. Also, the whole buying expierance bfore hand was poor, and then while i purchased the car, the salesman was a whole nother story. He did not know how to install the convertable top cover, and was less than helpfull when I asked him about the options with the car. Needless to say, I would not recomend this dealer to even my worst enemy. More
It has been over a month now since I received my last service at Marty Feldman. However, the customer service that I received by Jeff Zajac each and every time has been second to none and will never be service at Marty Feldman. I've had my HHR SS in for a service issue several times, but each time, Jeff has been prompt, focused on making sure that he understands what I need done, makes me feel that he cares and wants to get my service needs addressed. As I mentioned, I've had to return more than once to get a issue addressed, but each time, Jeff has made me feel right at home. Now if I have any other service work needs, I know I can go to Jeff, because he is dependable and will take care of my matter expeditiously. So, because of these experiences with Jeff, I will definitely take my vehicle to Marty Feldman for any type of service work and will absolutely consider buying my next vehicle from this dealership!
