Dishonesty and Manipulation at its Finest! Yesterday we made arrangements with Sheryl on the phone to lease a Cruz based on the current commercial on tv ($429 down and $55 per month on a 10K/yr Yesterday we made arrangements with Sheryl on the phone to lease a Cruz based on the current commercial on tv ($429 down and $55 per month on a 10K/yr lease). We spoke with her about the hidden fees and taxes, which she said would add another $10-15 per month to our cost. We had everything arranged with her on the phone and had an appointment to just sign the paperwork and pick up the car. Sheryl was not available when we arrived, so another salesperson named April assisted us (she had one of our emails with Sheryl and notes from the phone call in hand). We were asked to bring a W2 and insurance information and also told the process would take 45-60 minutes. The new salesperson, April, told us that we didn't qualify for the deal, even though we though Sheryl said that we did. I explained the situation to her and said she would run some numbers to to see how close she could get. The amount was 3 TIMES what we had discussed with Sheryl. I asked to speak with Sheryl as well as management, neither of which were available. April attempt to talk to manager Andrew, but he was unavailable (probably because this is a normal practice here). We had rushed around to get to Novi from Rochester with our 3 year old. Originally I was just going to drop my husband off to pick up the car, luckily I stayed! We ended up leaving without a car, and very negative feeling towards Sheryl as well as the dealership. We were very specific in our questions including hidden costs, fees, incentives and we were LIED to just to get us in the showroom. There are so many other honest dealerships, I highly recommend that you try another dealership. More

Feldman Chev, a well run dealership with the right focus Tony did a great job of finding me a car, in a short period of time, that would fit the tough parameters I set. The whole process went very well. I wa Tony did a great job of finding me a car, in a short period of time, that would fit the tough parameters I set. The whole process went very well. I was in the market for a used car immediately. I searched many dealerships on line and in person in the area. I could tell right away Tony has been doing this for awhile. He was the only one who got my sense of urgency and did the most for me. The effort was there. I shot down the first several cars he found, but he was persistent in meeting my goals. Tony not only takes care of his customers, but also the staff, because he know it is a group effort to sell and make the customer want to come back. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Strong character and a class act all the way. The support staff is very attuned to this philosophy too.. From the finance guy to Christa in the body shop (handled my G6 insurance claim, under a tight deadline), everyone works to make sure people are taken care of. This is a very well run dealership. After a honest conversation with the service team it was decided to move forward with a purchase of a new car. First I must say that with the challenges that were presented Steve Pierce was completely patient and did all he could to find a newer vehicle and keep our costs at a minimal. Thereafter Zach and the finance team was phenomenal is working out the best structure possible for our situation. As we were in no position or prepared to buy a new car. At the end of our experience. We received more than anticipated. A car that is exceptionally better than our last. Along with the assurance that the product being delivered will be supported in years to come by either the dealership and the manufacturer. It was refreshing to see people work as a team to help someone as if it was a friend or family member. More

I feel they were only worried about getting the sale and a favorable GM survey. I turned in a lease that I had to walk them through the steps of letting my bank know they had it so they stopped charging me late fees on a vehicle I no longer owned. I feel they talked to me very disrespectfully. I feel they truly did not care in the least! More
Juvenile Salesman My experience with your dealership was not favorable. The sales associate I was assigned to assist me in finding a vehicle was belligerent, immature, My experience with your dealership was not favorable. The sales associate I was assigned to assist me in finding a vehicle was belligerent, immature, and condescending. A week prior to my appointment, I was left a voicemail by him reminding me of the wrong appointment date-this should have tipped me off that I was dealing with someone who was completely incapable of any level of professionalism, but regardless, last week on a Saturday I came to your dealership to discuss what vehicle options were available to me. After waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, the man I was supposed to be meeting with finally introduced himself to me as Brian Graham and promptly excused himself. He was closing a sale with a previous client (Had I not seen this first hand, later on I would have thought this man incapable of any sort of sales). When we finally sat down to discuss what I was looking for in a vehicle, I was met with condescending remarks in response to any decision I made-If I preferred a light, almost white interior, too bad. It only comes in grey. If I prefer the Malibu, well he owns a Saturn Aura, and it's the same car...just better. We began to discuss financing, and despite my excellent credit score and several years of stable employment as a professor at a prominent University, he told the best he could do on a 2008 Malibu with over 90,000 miles was $300 a month with $3000 down. Absurd. When questioning his calculations, I was repeatedly told, "I think you just don't understand". I would later find out through his supervisor that his calculations were blatantly wrong. Additionally, I was looking to trade in my current vehicle. "Let me show you something" he said, and proceeded to take me outside in freezing rain just to point out everything he saw wrong with it aesthetically. Asking if it had been in any accidents, I replied, "No, it has a clean carfax". His response was a rude, "No accidents? Then where did THIS come from?" as he pointed to a subtle dent, "Or this spider webbing in the paint?"-Was he implying that I was lying, or did he just bring me outside to rudely berate me on the condition of my car? It is a 14 year old car, for christ's sake, and I've only owned it the past 3 years. Furthermore, I would prefer when purchasing a car, to know that more than just the aesthetic qualities of a vehicle are considered prior to the purchase or re-selling of that vehicle. I was a little taken aback by his attitude, but this was just the beginning. We returned inside so he could run my credit information. Taking my drivers license he disappeared for a good while. By now it's been nearly an hour and a half that I have been inside your dealership. Upon his return, he proceeds to play a childish game of constantly tugging my license away from me when I reach out to take it, "...This is ridiculous!" I yell, incredulous and obviously disgusted. He relinquishes my license, "Gotta have some fun!"-Fun? Was this man a hired party clown or was he here to sell me a car? Looking back, I suppose I should have demanded my keys at this point and salvaged the remainder of my weekend. But I digress. By now my patience is gone with this gentleman. We begin to discuss the trade in value of my car. He tells me he's looking at $500, but despite being here an hour and a half, it hasn't even been evauluated yet. Really? I tell him I could sell my car as scrap or have it parted out for that much, and it's in good running condition-In fact I've placed several thousand dollars over the past couple years into fixing and maintaining this vehicle, because quite frankly, I like it. He leaves to speak to his boss and "see what he can do". Returning to the table, he takes the paper with my license information, and folds it in half. "Pick a number!"-I don't have the patience for this, what's next? Is he going to ask me to choose a card? Pull a rabbit out of a hat? Absurd. He flips the paper over to reveal "$1000" Oh boy. I realize now it is to my benefit to sell the car myself if these are the games that I have to deal with. This meeting is increasingly becoming a waste of my time. This is not what he wants to hear, and he starts getting belligerant, raising his voice to me he smirks, "A waste of your time??". He condescendingly asks me how many cars I've sold. He then tells me my car would go for no more than 800$ on the private market and threatens to pull up Craigslist on his computer to prove his point. I tell him to go ahead. The day prior, there were 8 listings for similar or lesser quality cars of the same model going for $1600-Not a rate I would expect a dealership to pay, but a value I am confident I could get myself. This stops him from pawing at his keyboard and I demand my keys back in frustration so I can leave. Gladly, that was the last I saw of this remarkable idiot, as the man who returned in his place was the manager of the used cars department. When asked what the issue was, I told him frankly, "I do not like the person I have been dealing with". His response was a breath of fresh air, "Well then let's get you a new guy!" Great, are you that guy? "I can be if you'd like me to be!". Might I say, he was a pleasure to work with. He spoke respectfully and explained things clearly. He also informed me that the rate I had been quoted by Brian, did not sound right at all, and the quote he provided me was far less than the value I had been told previously and accurate to any loan calculations done at other dealerships. I left without buying a car, mainly because I was so put off by the man I had dealt with originally. I felt embarrassed for him, and disgusted at the way he behaved toward customers. He ruined any confidence I had in your dealership to handle transactions in a fair and professional manner. More
Avoid at all costs We bought a used 2011 Forester on 10/1/2014. The experience was OK. I might go there again if they had the right car. (edit: I would not go there, rea We bought a used 2011 Forester on 10/1/2014. The experience was OK. I might go there again if they had the right car. (edit: I would not go there, read below) Pros: *We had a question about the car. I was able to ask online and had a friendly and complete answer 90 seconds later. *Bob Straub was our salesman. He was laid back, eager to help, and answered all of our questions * We were able to make a deal that day, even staying after close Cons: *The finance agent, Ryan Benard, said he wanted to get us out "as quickly as possible" then talked us to sleep for over 70 minutes. He is a wide eyed professional sales person, he is very good at his job. Unfortunately he was WAY too aggressive, even worse he was predatory pushing warranties and other services that we didn't want or even need: He would quickly switch numbers from totals to monthly payment trying to trick us. I am sure he takes advantage of a lot of people who are just bad at math. If there was a single reason that I would never go back to Marty Feldman, it would be Ryan. *The car we bought was for sale there over a month, yet there were still huge piles of rotting crumbs in the back seat fold down cup rest, there was no windshield solvent, no gas, and the tire pressure guages did not work properly, etc. Just a little TLC would have shown that they cared for my experience with my car, but it doesn't feel that way. Bottom line, it won't be terrible but you better be ready to tell your closing guy that your leaving if he doesn't shut up and plan on doing your own car inspection, they don't. ***UPDATE 10/21/2014: I have called the dealership 3 times and and left a message with their online answering service and no one has returned my call. On top of that I was told my permanent license plate would be mailed to me. My temporary plate has now expired 6 days ago and I am driving illegally with no idea where the plate that I already paid for is? Apparently I am going to have to go yell at someone face-to-face to get any service whatsoever. Bottomline, just stay away from this place. More
Called ahead to find out if they could unlock my monsoon sound system for my 2007 grand prix that was locked when the battery died, the girl on the phone said it would be no problem and to bring it in and f sound system for my 2007 grand prix that was locked when the battery died, the girl on the phone said it would be no problem and to bring it in and for $40 it would be unlocked. So i brought my car in and told the guy at the desk in the service center what i needed and he said it would be $95 to turn on my radio. I mentioned the girl on the phone and he stated she must have been mistaking. For reference you can buy the whole headunit/radio on ebay for $50 and this dealership wants almost twice the value of the radio to unlock the theft lock. I had my registration and everything proving it was my car and my radio so it’s not like it’s a theft problem. after calling around for a minute i found another dealership in garden city that was willing to attempt to do it for free and if it had to be plugged into a computer it would never be over $35, i described what happened at the other dealer so she put me on hold to confirm the price and they agreed that it would never be more than $35. i went into the garden city service dealer and they were very nice and had my radio turned back on and ready to go in under 10 minutes and they did need to hook it up to unlock it and as they stated it was $35. Marty Feldman’s service employees were rude and did not seem to care for my business. I will not be going back to this dealership for any reason. More
