I was in the market for a new Ram Truck, and began my search on the internet. I had certain model and options in mind, and did not have to confine my search to Central NY as I frequently work in NYC, NJ search on the internet. I found the options, and more importantly the price I had in mind at Fayetteville Dodge Ram. The vehicle was in transit, so I sent an email asking when it would arrive. The response was immediate, and I also got an email when the truck actually arrived at the dealership. I arrived at the dealer to take a look at the truck during a snow storm. I was greeted by Bob Saltzman, who had no problem suiting up for the weather and walking me to the far end of the property to let me take a look. No pressure, no hard sell, just two guys talking truck in a blizzard. I returned a few days later with my wife for a test drive. When I sat down with Bob, he had been able to apply more rebates and discounts, reducing the price again. Bob hooked me up with Mike Forster, Business Manager who was able to secure financing with zero down at a rate lower than the 3.0% I was going to insist on. All said and done, I purchased the vehicle with the options I wanted (and then some) for I price less than what I expected, at a loan rate lower than I expected. Bob Saltzman was responsive, knowledgeable, and made the entire process a pleasure. Hat's off to Bob & Mike. With 4 children and a 5th on the way, I knew it was time to trade in my bachelor-pad SUV with the sunroof and nice paint job for a van. My wife and I hadn't planned to visit the dealership nor do a test drive on the day we did, but things just fell into place for us. I was greeted by Justin, who braved the cold to see if we needed anything from where we had parked in the back of the lot. Justin was respectful of my time and the fact my wife, infant and toddler were patiently waiting in the car while I test drove the van and worked out the trade-in numbers. Over the weekend I thought about the van and the number Justin presented. When I called on Monday, I gave Justin a list of things I was looking for before I was willing to complete the purchase. I was impressed that Justin not only made everything happen for me, including having all of the paperwork ready for me to sign and the van ready to go when I came in (again a display of his respectfulness of my time), but that the final negotiations happened over the phone in a simple, quick and efficient manner. I appreciated that Justin didn't act like the "typical" car saleman. He wasn't pushy, respected my decisions and thoughts, answered my questions, managed everything smoothly and worked within my constraints. Not to mention that I was thoroughly impressed with Justin's knowledge of a used van that had been on the lot for several months.
