Complete morons I called there and explained the deal I had with another dealership and they said they'll beat it. I took the long drive there and talked to Karl Grav I called there and explained the deal I had with another dealership and they said they'll beat it. I took the long drive there and talked to Karl Graves and gave him the buyers order from a different dealership and he started working on a price he showed me the print out I said it's 4,6xx.00 higher you could've at least been close to their price since your web site we'll beat any price, his reply was well that's our price. I went to the usual Faulkner GMC dealership I deal with and they gave me the price I wanted however once the Faulkner West Chester GMC found out I was the buyer they lied to their other dealership and said the vehicle was sold, then called me to see if I was still interested in buying it. Needless to say they still have the vehicle and Faulkners lost my business, I only keep vehicles for 1-2 years and then buy a new one. I emailed the sales manager and asked why they have we'll beat any offer on their web site if they don't do that, he had no idea what I was talking about and then went on to say they have the lowest prices. I explained to him I gave his dealership a buyers order from a different dealership and his dealership couldn't come close to their price his response was you said what I already said we are the lowest and he's sorry that I was the victim of another dealerships game of giving me a lower price for a vehicle they didn't even have and having me trying to find a lower price. The other dealerships vehicle is sitting in my driveway. I think what he was trying to say was I'm sorry to hear you're not dumb enough to fall for our lies. FAULKNER West Chester GMC are liars and complete morons. More
great organization I had a great experience with the whole Faulkner organization especially with my salesman Don Friel. When I first walked in to their brand new used ca I had a great experience with the whole Faulkner organization especially with my salesman Don Friel. When I first walked in to their brand new used car sales building Don was very friendly and down to earth, explained my options and the price of the car. I left and with talking to my Wife we decided to make an offer on a 2014 Terrain. I stopped back to see Don and we negotiated a price as two friends would talk about a price, not like a salesman and buyer, no pressure at all! After agreeing on a price it was late (4:00) and my wife was not with me. So we agreed to pick it up the next day and Don had it detailed, oil changed, tires rotated and almost full tank of gas. the next day we came in and where meet by a team of three people, Ashley, Chris and Maryland to handle the paper work and explain all my options on warranty and other options like extending the factory warranty, financing and what all the papers that needed signing where, not just putting them in front of you and asking you to sign. If I had to rate this whole experience from 1 to 10, I would give it an 11. More
Service Department Complaint On 5/8/15, my 2011 Buick LaCrosse had an emergency (trip interruption) in Wayne, PA and was towed to Faulkner GMC Buick, West Chester, PA by AAA; wa On 5/8/15, my 2011 Buick LaCrosse had an emergency (trip interruption) in Wayne, PA and was towed to Faulkner GMC Buick, West Chester, PA by AAA; water pump was replaced and the car was picked up on 5/11/15. After returning to Lancaster, PA, I found that the rocker panel area just behind the passenger side front wheel was damaged. I took it to Autohaus Body Shop where several professionals opined that the rocker panel damage was consistent with damage caused by a car lift. When I contacted Faulkner's Service Manager, Mr. Johenning, he denied that it happened in their shop; said that the damage was recorded on the back of their work order as already existing. The conclusion by those adjudicating my complaint (General Motors Customer Service and Erie Insurance ) was that it was a "he said, she said" argument and the complaint was closed. AAA had investigated the complaint and advised that the damage was not consistent with their flat bed tow. On 9/15/15, having a transmission shifting problem, I took the car to my regular dealer, Jones GMC Buick, Lancaster. PA. They determined that the problem was the Control Solenoid Valve (CSV) which they replaced. During their repair sequence, they reviewed the car's warranty service record and found that the CSV had supposedly already been replaced; replaced by Faulkner during that Emergency service last May as a Warranty Service. However, Faulkner allegedly replaced the CSV with a part that was not compatible with my Buick. When asked if they could have, by chance, just listed the wrong part number, I was told that the alleged replaced CSV was the original equipment. Goes right to the heart of the Faulkner Service Department's credibility; one wonders now if the alleged notation on the back of the work order was really made at the time the car was checked in or was it noted, by chance, after the car had been damaged while in Faulkner's shop. If they would bill General Motors for warranty work that they didn't do, I believe then that they would claim the damage to my car already existed. I am now in discussions with my attorney about initiating a suit against Faulkner. More
Awful Body Shop!! DO NOT go here! This review is for the body shop only. cliff notes: awful body shop, avoid at all costs!! I should have put more faith into some of the bad revi This review is for the body shop only. cliff notes: awful body shop, avoid at all costs!! I should have put more faith into some of the bad reviews. I was rear ended and their insurance had Faulkner's body shop on their list of recommended shops. Getting in for the estimate was fine, but I had a feeling it was going to require more work than they wrote in the initial estimate based upon the damages, but they didn't spend much time looking at the damage. Took almost 3 weeks to get in and it was supposed to be a one day turn around... it wasn't. There were additional parts damaged they needed to replace, but they had to order them and instead of getting my car back in 1 day, it took almost a week. I go to pick up my car, and the paint on the new bumper looks good. The other trim pieces look awful. There's huge gapping on the bumper cover and a factory tow hook cover they just didn't replace and was damaged. They tell me they'll order new parts and call me when they're in. They never call. I go on vacation, still don't hear from them. I call them when I get back, the parts are in, they tell me it should take 30 minutes, tops, to put them on. Lies. I spent 1 hr 20 minutes in their waiting room and guess what? There's still gapping. The body shop guy tells me that's just how it is because they're held on with double sided tape. My brand new car didn't have gaps there before, but it just proved to me how incompetent their body shop is. I don't have time to waste right now and I'm 99% sure if they redid it again, it would be just as bad. This is truly an awful body shop, and no one should ever go here. I plan on contacting the insurance company who paid for everything and letting them know how awful they are. Maybe I can go to a better shop and get my car fixed correctly. I could go on even longer about more issues, but hopefully you get the idea.. stay away! cliff notes: awful body shop, avoid at all costs!! More
My friend drove 3 hours round trip to look at a 2013 chevy corvette 427 and when he got there the rear quarter panel was cracked through. After 3 phone calls proir to taking the trip out it was never di chevy corvette 427 and when he got there the rear quarter panel was cracked through. After 3 phone calls proir to taking the trip out it was never disclosed to him the car was damaged. The manager John said he had already got a quote from his body shop to fix the issue but he wants to leave this to the buyer to get this fixed. This is not a way to run or operate a business and I will not be shopping here to purchase ANY vehicle. More
To make a very long story short, I purchased a used Chrysler 300. The very NIGHT, I made the purchase I began to experience problems with the vehicle. I called my salesperson Tom delgott to report th Chrysler 300. The very NIGHT, I made the purchase I began to experience problems with the vehicle. I called my salesperson Tom delgott to report the problem. He told me to bring the vehicle in when he got back from xmas vacation and that he would get it taken care of. Needless to say, it didnt get taken care of, and he and his manager Hugh Gillespie hid behind the 1k, 1 month powertrain warranty that came with the car. I was basically told there was nothing they would do for the electrical and sensor issues that I experienced. So after spending over 11k, Im going to have to drop another undisclosed amount to fix issues that were obviously wrong with the vehicle at purchase. Thoroughly disgusted by the dishonor exhibited at Faulkner GMC West Chester and would never recommend them to anyone. More
Absolute worst experience of my life. I've bought a toaster oven before and that salesman was more professional than anyone at Faulkner. I made a visit on a friday night, came back the next morning to toaster oven before and that salesman was more professional than anyone at Faulkner. I made a visit on a friday night, came back the next morning to find a sold sign mysteriously placed on the vehicle I expressed interest in the night before. The salesman pushed a newer model on me, and he pushed it very hard. As I started to walk away, the sales manager came out and said they would try to find the vehicle I wanted at another dealership in the area. They said they would call me by the end of the day. Well, several days went by and I heard nothing, so I went to a different dealership that happened to have what i wanted and bought it right there on the spot. I called Faulkner the same night I bought the car, and left a message on the voicemail thanking them for looking, but informing them I made a purchase elsewhere and perhaps we could to business in the future. Several more days go by and finally I get a phone call from Faulkner saying they found a car for me. When i told the salesman (Don) that I had already made a purchase, he became very irate with me, so I just hung up the phone. I started getting more phone calls at work, and then came home to messages on my phone saying that I was a liar and never left a message, I was "rude" for not calling him and "if you want to do business in the future with real men, you should learn how to do it right". God forbid I made the salesman do a little bit of work to find me a vehicle. Overall I eneded up talking to the manager (who wasn't much better). I told him the harassing phone calls needed to come to an end or i would take a drastic next step. He told me to just be happy with my new car. What an A-hole. Learn to check your freakin voicemail. I can see why GM has been hurting so badly over the past several years. Don't waste your time here, there are plenty of dealers who are willing to do a little bit of work to make an honest sale and earn your business. BTW - this dealership knew my father-in-law after he bought THREE cars from them. Didn't seem to matter how they treated me. More
