Lug nut problems My only complaint is I faithfully have my car serviced every 5000 miles at family ford, which includes rotating the tires. Last year I had to purchase My only complaint is I faithfully have my car serviced every 5000 miles at family ford, which includes rotating the tires. Last year I had to purchase 3 new lug nuts at $8.00 each due to the galv. coating on the nuts cracking. This service period I was advised that I should get all 20 lug nuts replaced due to the same problem. Financially I cannot afford an additional $200.00 for new lug nuts every service period. Was told that I may have a problem should I get a flat tire and lug nuts cannot be removed because of this problem. Because of this add"l cost, I told service rep. to put the old lug nuts back on. Being a long time Ford owner I do not think that I should be responsible for a defect in Ford's design. Would appreciate a reply regarding this situation. More

Ken, does a great job - I would recommend for a pay raise. Ken is the guy I see when I come for service. Explains everything out as what was done. Your lucky to have a employee that goes up an above the rest Ken is the guy I see when I come for service. Explains everything out as what was done. I had once a problem an I ask one of the service people to please come look at the car to explain what was happening. He did not want to even walk out behind the counter. More

Finally found a great Service Dept. I tried several Ford Service Departments that were closer to me in MA before finding Family Ford of Enfield. The service reps all seemed to treat me l I tried several Ford Service Departments that were closer to me in MA before finding Family Ford of Enfield. The service reps all seemed to treat me like they either assumed I was clueless or they had better things to do with their time. The service reps at Family Ford are the complete opposite. They talk to me respectfully and make sure to answer any questions I might have, the estimates of how long service will take are right on the money, and they've even let me know that service wasn't needed yet when I've called too early. It's totally worth the drive. More
