This was my first experience with Family Ford service, I will be returning beceause all of my concerns were addressed. A recall was completed, the bearing replaced and part of the 60,000 mile check up was done. I will schedule another appointment shortly to complete the checkup More
Refigure the fan to prevent critters frm getting in there. Second time we removed rodents from fans, perhaps a cage around it would prevent this from happening again. Oil change gone wrong Went for a simple oil change and received terrible service. 1) The service area told me I should have "known better" to schedule a service the same Went for a simple oil change and received terrible service. 1) The service area told me I should have "known better" to schedule a service the same day online. I scheduled a 4:30 appointment at 8 am. I also received a cancellation email with no call forcing me to call anyways. 2) When I arrived the cashier was rude. He did not explain to me what I was signing at all and when I did inquire why the receipt he had just told me to sign said I would be laying $50 in labor for this oil change I inquired why it said that and was rudely told that didn't apply. I had the Ford oil change coupon for "the works" which was supposed to be $39.95 but with no detail or explanation from the cashier I was told it'll be about $50. They also asked if I wanted a cabin filter changed for "at least $80". Amazon has it for $13. I will save the price of labor and do it myself! 3) There was an issue with an apparent mouse nest in the air filter compartment. I do park outside so this didn't sound absurd, but when I inquired how much it would be to remove I was rudely told "at least $20-$30" for them to vacuum it out. I asked if I could take it out on my own and was told no (which I understand is a liability) but the cashier eluded that my only option was to pay an absurd price for them to vacuum it. I asked if I had a choice and he said no. I then said "no, don't touch it, I'll take it where it is warrantied" and the cashier stormed away. I then went home and immediately took the cover off the air filter area and the nest was so perfectly placed and very clean (despite being a mouse nest) with maple leaves (which we have none of at my house). It truthfully appeared to be placed there as it was just too clean overall. 4) After waiting an hour and a half for this oil change to be complete, I turned around to see the car sitting outside and no one near it. It was done. Who knows how long. 5) I then went into the service department to cash out, despite them not telling me it was done. The rude cashier greeted the man who walked in BEHIND ME and started asking why they were coming in. He then turned to me and said "oh it's done". I asked to check out with another cashier. 6) I then asked to talk to a manager who simply said "yes you can schedule an appointment same day online". Didn't acknowledge everything else except for saying that he hopes I come back for service soon, to which I said not likely. This business is not easy to do business with. Growing up I always heard how you should have a male bring your car in for service because they take advantage of females and their lack of knowledge of what needs to happen or how extensive it is to get done. Ladies- do not do business with this company. You will regret it when you're paying $80 for something you could do yourself for $15!! More

He went out and checked the vehicle while it was on the lift to see how it looked. I appreciated this care and concern very much. It told me he was still interested even though I was not shopping for another vehicle. This makes me want to recommend this dealership. More

Outstanding customer service for certified pre owned! I bought a certified pre owned vehicle at Family Ford in December. There was a minor issue after I had the car for a few months and I thought I would I bought a certified pre owned vehicle at Family Ford in December. There was a minor issue after I had the car for a few months and I thought I would be charged to fix it. The Sales Manager was notified of the issue and he waived the fee for the repair. I was also provided a courtesy shuttle ride back to work and was picked up again when my vehicle was ready. This saved me time away from work and was greatly appreciated. Excellent customer service experience. More
