I recently purchased a used car from Family Ford of Netcong. The experience, was great from start to finish. I began my search through their on-line website, and found the detail and information to my Netcong. The experience, was great from start to finish. Upon my arrival, I was introduced to my contact Fred Mundhenk, and he proceeded to spend 2 1/2 hours with us from start to finish. Looking at three models of the car I was interested in, and also suggesting a less expensive different model to see if it worked for my needs. The entire buyng experience, as wella s negoting the final price was pleasant. In addition, when Ic ame to pick up my car a few days letter, our experience with the finance manager (His name was also Fred, but I do not have his last name). Once we completed our paperwork, Fred Mundhenk, spent another 30 minutes with us, going over the features of the car, setting up our on-line account, and then sitting with us in the car, to show how every possible feature worked, including enabling our blue tooth. This was a great car buiying experience,a dn I would highly reccomend this dealership to anyone in the need of a car. More

Despite having prior positive experiences with Family Ford's sales and service departments, I initially went to Performance Ford just a few miles down the road because they had a car in inventory that ve Ford's sales and service departments, I initially went to Performance Ford just a few miles down the road because they had a car in inventory that very closely matched what I was looking for. After a less than pleasant experience at Performance Ford fraught with all of the stereotypical car sales tactics, I contacted Fred Mundhenk at Family Ford. Our interaction began via email where he answered my questions in a very straightforward fashion and provided a line-by-line price breakdown of the car I was interested in. Went into the dealership later in the week and ordered a 2014 Mustang exactly the way I wanted it and was served efficiently and respectfully. They also offered over 30% more for my trade than Performance Ford. Even my 11 year old son who accompanied me to both dealerships commented on the difference in service and the overall process. Fred kept me informed along the way and accommodated the last minute addition of an option to my order just prior to it going to production. I was pleasantly surprised to have my car delivered significantly sooner than the original estimation. Delivery was handled as efficiently and respectfully as the ordering process by both Fred Mundhenk and the other Fred in the finance department. Fred Mundhenk spent a significant amount of time setting up and explaining all the features of the car. So thorough I haven't had the need to ever crack open the owners manual. This was an exciting purchase for me and my son and Fred's superior customer service made it fun and stress free. I would highly recommend Family Ford and Fred Mundhenk if you are in the market for a new Ford at a great price and with excellent customer service. More

After less than satisfactory experience with a different dealership that I have reviewed on this site, I feel compelled to point out what great experience I have had with Family Ford who will become my pref dealership that I have reviewed on this site, I feel compelled to point out what great experience I have had with Family Ford who will become my preferred dealership for service on my new Ford F-150 FX4. Working with the parts and service managers on availability and pricing for running boards and a bedliner was pleasant and easy. They even gave me a discount on the cost and installation charges for the bedliner. Pickup and dropoff were a breeze and they have great preferred customer benefits. About the only downside was the construction on Rt. 183 that will make it hard for me to get to the dealership, but I can't blame that on Family Ford. More

Performance Ford tries to decieve you into a window etching fee, and docking fee.....Family Fords sales contract is very simple with only a DMV fee. Also no prices on the Cars in the Performance Ford Car Lot. They gave me a price on a truck and the next day they changed the price ( $2000 Higher ). performance ford uses a vehicle Trade-In guide that is very very Low compared to the Fair Market Value of NADA or Kelly Blue Book. Family Ford Does not use deceptive practice, they use NADA and Show you the Fair value for your car. More

Showroom and repair shop are in 2 different locations about 1/4 mile apart, I was given a shuttle ride to showroom to check out some new vehicles while mine was repaired sales staff polite and friendly no pressure, new Taurus is a wonderful looking car they offered me a test drive even though I was just wasting time, Mark the owner gave me a ride back to the shop when my car was complete, as for the repairs good clean work and a good price, I would recommend this place to have your vehicle repaired or if you want a non pressure sales experience.
