Centered on money, not the customer. Go somewhere else. I was highly interested in the Focus ST and the 2015 Mustang just caught my eye, and being a Ford owner I wanted to stay domestic. Johnson City Ford already annoyed me by lack of willingness to negotiate. The way I understood the sale on that Wimbledon White Mustang is that it was special edition and according to BDC Manager, Piper Kirk, "we did, in fact, have a good solid mark up on it." The way I see the situation, these salespeople wanted to make as much money from the customer as possible just because they COULD. I'd rather not buy from someone who is only wanting a marked up sale, a wanton disregard of the customer. I will be taking my business to Friendship Ford in Bristol. Perhaps I will find someone who is in business for the customer, eventually. More
Had new spark plugs installed ,got noise in motor & gas fumes in cab after that. Took it to another ford dealer they found # 8 plug not tight , that fixed the problem. Service manager won't refund me $ gas fumes in cab after that. Took it to another ford dealer they found # 8 plug not tight , that fixed the problem. Service manager won't refund me $169.00 it cost to fix their mistake. He even said loose plug wouldn't cause gas fumes in cab . I gave him paper work from ford dealer that said that fixed the problem. Reason I didn't go back to fairway ford to get it fixed is because they fixed a manifold gasket last year & stripped a bolt & when I went back they told me the manifold is cracked $800.00 to fix it , I took it to a professional exhaust shop for a second opinion & they found manifold not cracked but stripped bolt ,fairway ford did refund part of money for that mistake , How could I trust them after they was going to charge me $800.00 for something I didn't need? That is why I went to another ford dealer. More
I bought a brand new 2002 Ford Mustang (a few years ago) from Fairway and I had a pretty GOOD buying experience. I was shocked to see such bad reviews - but they are related to service issues and pre-owned from Fairway and I had a pretty GOOD buying experience. I was shocked to see such bad reviews - but they are related to service issues and pre-owned cars. I did not go back to Fairway for service. I am not sure the complaints are credible - especially when you see all the mispelled words and such. I would go back to Fairway if I were in the market for a new Ford. They weren't pushy and gave me the deal I wanted. More

This company does not stand behind what they sell! They are the ultimate car salesmen, they will tell you everything about the car that you would want to know and leave out the mechanical problems that eve are the ultimate car salesmen, they will tell you everything about the car that you would want to know and leave out the mechanical problems that even a buyer's check won't pick up. Their service department did not check the car even when I sent it back a second time. They knew about the bad performance of the car but did everything they could to sell it to me anyway and within 1300 miles the car needed a whole new engine. They refuse to pay any portion of the cost, claiming that I purposefully ruined the engine and am trying to blame it on them. I should have realized that they have already been kicked out of the Better Business Bureau of Tennessee and they already have a couple of complaints with the State Consumer Affairs Dept. Please avoid them at all costs! More
