Then we asked him his name (so we could complain to the manager) and his response was "What's MY name? What's YOUR name?!" So rude. Never going back there, and warning all my friends to stay away. My wife and I stopped in to look at a new or used Ford truck and were met on the lot by Mr Rice. Mr Rice was very helpful comparing the features of the different vehicles. Once we had selected a truck we wanted, Mr Bullock began assisting us with our purchase. It was late in the evening and we had two small boys with us. Mr Rice and Mr Bullock did everything they could to speed up the process and make it as easy as possible to get into our new vehicle, even going so far as to "babysit" our two children while we finalized the deal. We were very happy to have such a positive experiance. We would highly recommend doing business with the Fairway Ford dealership and their sales team, all of them were top notch. 11/16/06 A follow up. Shortly after our purchase, we noticed that the passenger side window would roll down, but not up. I called Mr Rice and told him our problem and he didnt hesitate to tell me to bring it back in. I brought it to the service department and was met by Mr Rice. He explained everything to the service department who offered the shuttle service to me if I needed it. The repair (a faulty switch) was promptly fixed with a minimum of hassle on my part. Another great experiance. These guys understand what customer service is! More
I worked with Bill Ross of Fairway Ford in Greenville. I live in Ft. Lauderdale and found the vehicle on Cars.com at this dealership. From the get-go Bill didn't fool around. He gave me a price that was was so competitive I had no room (or cause) to haggle with him. We arranged as many of the details as possible over the phone with no guarantee on Bill's part that I was being truthful about the purchase. When I arrived Bill even came to get me at the airport. I was given the keys and left with the vehicle in the parking lot to run through my vehicle checklist while Bill prepared all the necessary paperwork. The vehicle is FLAWLESS and within 90 minutes of stepping foot in the store I was riding out with the vehicle. I was greeted by anyone who passed me while I waited and was never hassled in any way. I've bought over 15 vehicles at dealerships throughout the years and have visited many dozens more where the service was so horrible I dared not stay a moment longer. The experience I had with Bill Ross at Fairway Ford has taught me that I didn't know as much about car dealers as I thought I did. I would emphatically recommend Fairway Ford and especially Bill Ross. Thank you. More
This dealership worked with me and got me approved for a new Ford Fusion even though my credit isnt the best. I had gone to another dealership previously and been turned down even with a co-signer. I was in the market for a later model but smaller vehicle for my wife becuase she had become completely frustrated with her 2004 GMC Denali XL. It was too big, heavy on gas, and the windshield leaked in heavy rains. I stopped at Fairway Ford's to browse through their pre-owned vehicles. A 2008 Explorer caught my attention so I took a closer look. I gave the Sales Rep my information to see if I could get lucky but the deal was rejected. He called on his Sales Manager, Jerome Bullock to assist him with the sale. Jerome came to the pre-owned lot, introduced himself, took some additional information and said he would be back in a few minutes. Jerome returned and said not only was he able to improve our interest rate and reduce the payments, but he managed to push the purchase through Ford Motor Credit. This was a huge accomplishment for us because our spotty credit usually landed us in the office of a predatory lender who did not have our best interest at heart. My family has bought a total of 5 cars from this dealership in the past 10 years. They have always been very professional and courteous to us. On the rare occassion that we had to take our cars in dealership in the past 10 years. They have always been very professional and courteous to us. One time there was a misunderstanding, but once it was brought to the attention of the Service Manager they went out of their way to make it right. More
After having spent the winter in Tampa, It is such a JOY to be able to come back to Fairway Ford!! My Explorer just seems to smile as I pull in for service. I have leased or purchased ten vehicles over the years and no matter if it's sales or service, the customer service i have received has always been outstanding. Fairway always has had the car or truck in and no matter if it's sales or service, the customer service i have received has always been outstanding. Fairway always has had the car or truck in stock that I've wanted and it's never taken me more than two or three hours to finish a deal from start to finish. I travel over two hours to do business at Fairway Ford I would highly recommend them as a place to do business. More
