I have had the pleasure of meeting the two most friendliness people at a dealership. First off, you hear horrible stories of woman going to a car lot by themself, and being taking advantage of. N friendliness people at a dealership. First off, you hear horrible stories of woman going to a car lot by themself, and being taking advantage of. NOT IN MY CASE. First I was recommended to Judd, and he greeted me with such a warm smile, he has his partner Sam take me and a close friend of mine on a test drive for several and trucks without any hesitation. Mind you we were both woman. When we finally made it back to the car lot, Sam was over his 8 hr work schedule by a hour , once I found that out, I told him we can picked this up the next day to finish. Sam stated " no this is my job, of which he enjoys, and it was his pleasure to help m no matter how long it took". At that point I knew my " NEW CAR PURCHASE" WOULD NOT TAKE PLACE NO WHERE ELSE BUT THERE.... Needless to say, I purchase a new chevy cruse!!!!! So Sam, James And Judd....... I would like to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is heart warmimg to know that in the world we live in today, there are still good honest people in the world, expecially in the car dealership business.... Dana Wagner More
I actually didn't buy anything from this dealership, but only because they did not have what I was looking for. I am from California and in my search for our new vehicle, Fairway was one of the dealerships only because they did not have what I was looking for. I am from California and in my search for our new vehicle, Fairway was one of the dealerships that contacted us. At the start, when I found out that this dealership was in another state, I told them that it is highly unlikely that we would purchase a vehicle from them. However, instead of cutting off all communication with us, Mark proceeded to help me in my search and gave me great sources and information. I think that if they are willing to do this much for someone who already told them that we would NOT buy from them, I can only imagine how far they will go to help someone who is considering buying a vehicle from them. Thanks Mark! More
I just wanted to take a brief moment of your time to give you a review of my personal experience(s) at Fairway Chevrolet, specifically the Speed Shop. I live in Aliante and I go out of my way to get my ca you a review of my personal experience(s) at Fairway Chevrolet, specifically the Speed Shop. I live in Aliante and I go out of my way to get my cars taken care of by Sam and Manny from the Speed Shop. Sam has spent many hours working with me on my car and through phone calls, emails and during his off duty time to get me the answers to my questions and set the car up exactly how I wanted it. Going above and beyond with customer satisfaction is what I look for specifically when dealing with any business. Both Sam and Manny have been very respectful to me and could not be more professional than they are every time they work with me. As a retired Air Force service member, these are a must. I have been dealing with dealerships for the past 15 years and I have never had an experience like I have when I work with these outstanding employees! I HIGHLY recommend Sam and Manny for your GM High Performance needs. More
I like this old store and the people are pretty friendly. I only ended up back here because all of the dealers by my house and especially the Nissan dealers just wanted to play games. It is actually the th I only ended up back here because all of the dealers by my house and especially the Nissan dealers just wanted to play games. It is actually the third car I have purchased here and didn't come here first because my old sales guy quit and told me that his boss (Terry H) was a total jerk and treated everyone there bad. My new sales guy I didn't list because when I shared this with him he agreed and said it is hard to work there. The old sales person had worked there for 6 years and said he felt forced to leave. So I considered buying a Nissan instead. Though I really like the way Chevy gives rebates and saves you money. Plus, I am used to it and overall happy with the deal and even the dealership. Plus, I had to use roadside service once and they took my car here and they fixed it really fast and were nice the whole time. More
My wife and I were looking for a Chevrolet Sonic for our 19 year old son.We had visited the sister store of this dealership (auto show mall location) and the salesman(Dan Schnake) was nice however wasn't av 19 year old son.We had visited the sister store of this dealership (auto show mall location) and the salesman(Dan Schnake) was nice however wasn't available this evening we showed up.The salesman who did try to help us at this point(Henry)came back with this insaine high payment that was almost $150.00 more than Dan had quoted us with a very large down. We left and the next day I received a call from Sarah that they could do a better deal at the Sahara location. My wife and son promptly left to go to the Sahara location. Then the nightmare started beyond anything we ever expected. They sat in some back office around an hour to an hour and a half with a salesman named Fritz. This person needs to be fired immediately-he has no customer service skills, possibly the top worst sales person we had encountered in our search for a car for our son. He came back with no numbers, no explanation of anything what so ever or why the very long wait and even tried to shove off some junky used Aveo on my son for the same down as the new car !!! What a first time experience for our son at this dealership. He will never forget how horribly he and his mother(my wife) were treated. We will never, ever step foot on a Fairway dealership property again. More
On 9/19 I inquired about a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid (VIN#1GNSCDFJ6BR163734) that was advertised AS NEW on the Fairway Chevrolet website. On 9/20 Jeramie Simpson contacted me about my interest in the (VIN#1GNSCDFJ6BR163734) that was advertised AS NEW on the Fairway Chevrolet website. On 9/20 Jeramie Simpson contacted me about my interest in the purchase of this vehicle. On 9/21 I was contacted by Anne Sostman, who provided a RETAIL BUYER'S ORDER for the vehicle showing that the car was "NEW" and had a mileage of "12." On 9/22 I agreed to purchase the vehicle and provided a $1,000 credit card deposit to hold the vehicle. At this time, Ms Sostman asked me to provide my GM Card information to determine how much rewards value I could apply to this vehicle purchase. On 9/24 Mr. Simpson confirmed that the vehicle would be ready for delivery on 10/01 and that we could complete the deal at the agreed upon price. On 9/24 I made non-refundable, one-way travel and lodging plans at a cost of $177.07. On 9/30, Ms Sostman contacted me via phone and informed me that because of this particular vehicle’s use as a “SHOW/BARRETT-JACKSON DEMO” vehicle, the GM Card earnings could not be applied to the purchase price of the vehicle. During this phone conversation, I asked Ms Sostman to confirm the mileage of the vehicle as “12” and its status as a “NEW” vehicle. She assured me that this vehicle did have only “12” miles and was a “NEW” vehicle. On 10/1, I arrived at Fairway Chevrolet to inspect the vehicle and complete paperwork on the deal. Upon entering the vehicle, the driver’s seat had considerable wear and the odometer read “819 MILES.” In response to my questioning this, Ms Sostman stated, “according to her system, the vehicle only had 12 miles.” I requested an additional discount or some other consideration in response to this misrepresentation, but was denied anything beyond the promise of a $100 gift card to be mailed at a future date. While upset at this misrepresentation and suspicious about the car’s status as “NEW,” I continued into the finance office where Howard Kane informed us that, according to General Motors, the NEW CAR WARRANTY on this vehicle had already begun in SEPTEMBER 2010, at a mileage of 0. Mr. Kane further explained that while the vehicle we were buying was “NEW,” the warranty was already over A YEAR AND 819 MILES EXPIRED and that our limited term, limited mileage new car warranty would NOT start on the date and mileage we were purchasing our “NEW” car. At this point I exited the dealership and discontinued progress on the delivery paperwork. Our initial $1,000 deposit was refunded back to our credit card. I was forced to locate a rental car and drive back to Los Angeles at a cost of $151.37. Fairway Chevrolet represented a USED/DEMO/SHOW CAR as a NEW CAR throughout my buying process. - GM Card rewards, valid on all regularly titled new GM vehicles, were not available. While we were encouraged by Ms Sostman to provide our GM Card information on 9/22, we were not told they would not be valid until 9/30, after our travel was booked. - The mileage of the vehicle was represented as “12” throughout the buying process, the online advertisement of the vehicle, and the RETAIL BUYER’S ORDER. When we arrived at the dealership, the mileage was 819. - The NEW CAR WARRANTY, which typically goes into effect upon purchase of the vehicle, was already 819 miles and OVER A YEAR expired on this particular vehicle. While I cannot put a dollar figure on the amount of time, stress, and frustration Fairway Chevrolet, Anne Sostman, and Jeramie Simpson put me through this past weekend, I have verifiable expenses totaling $328.44 that I feel Fairway Chevrolet should compensate me for. I also hope that, in the future, the dealership does a better job of disclosing ALL information about their vehicle in an upfront and honorable fashion, especially when dealing with customers from out of town. I am totally impressed with the service I received when my "mature" motor home needed a broken sway bar bracket repaired. When one is on the road and living in the rig, getting it repaired promptly is ver my "mature" motor home needed a broken sway bar bracket repaired. When one is on the road and living in the rig, getting it repaired promptly is very important. When it was found that the part would not be available for several days, the tech welded the broken part and re-installed it. We were in and out in about 2 hours. Many dealerships will not even look at motor homes, never mind treat out of area customers with the efficiency and promptness which we received. Thanks Fairway and Kenneth. More
Honesty and integrity, two adjectives not commonly used when describing auto dealerships; however, both apply to Fairway Chevrolet and Service Advisor Chris Boutte. Under the assumption that my 2005 Monte when describing auto dealerships; however, both apply to Fairway Chevrolet and Service Advisor Chris Boutte. Under the assumption that my 2005 Monte Carlo SS was due for Dura Major service (the heater also needed repair), I called to make the service appointment and was transferred to Chris. After he pulled up the vehicle history, he happily advised me that he would be saving me approximately $435 since the Dura Major service was performed during my last visit. Chris could very easily have written up a work order for the heater problem and the Dura Major service. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. Chris was friendly and informative when I dropped off the car and called me later in the day to advise me concerning the necessary work (and cost) that needed to be performed regarding the heater problem. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing your new facility. Thank you Chris and Fairway Chevrolet. More
