Always able to fit me in and I have not ever had to come back a second time for anything. Very friendly, very helpful and I can even watch what is being done. When I first arrived at Fair Oaks Chantilly Dodge, I told them right away what I wanted and the price I could afford. I told them I didn't want to haggle. Thad listened to what I was looking for. We went for a test drive and I felt it handled well. However, when we went in the dealership to talk price, it was as if they didn't believe me when I gave them my maximum. Once we established that I could not go over the amount I told them, Marvin also took notes on what I needed so he could look and see if there was something in my price range that wasn't currently on the lot. Luckily, the credit union from whom I was getting the loan unexpectedly dropped their interest rate for a 2-day "sale." I was able to increase the amount I was able to borrow to closer to the price on the vehicle I wanted. There was a little haggling, but not much. We were able to come to an agreement and I am happy with my purchase. More
I knew I wanted a Jeep Compass when I entered the dealership in May of 2010. I had designed my car online, printed a copy which included prices, and took it with me. There was not a 2010 on the lot that met my expectations (there were only 2) and the 2011 models were not expected until August. I needed my new car by July. Sony explained that the 2010 cars were being produced by special order and that I would have it in June. We went to the computer and ordered my car and desired options. The price was the same as I had found on the Jeep website and the only discussion was the current dealer incentive. That was a good thing and reduced the price of my new vehicle. Sony further explained that if the dealer incentive at the time of pick up of my new vehicle was enhanced that I would be offered the better incentive. The incentive was the same but I did receive a very fair price on the vehicle I traded. The estimated time for production of my 2010 Compass Limited was 1-2 months and I received it in 1 month. Sony kept me informed by email of my vehicle's progress during production. I am thrilled with my purchase experience and new vehicle. More
I would not buy from this dealer. One would think in this day and age, dealers would stop the games, but this one has not. I supposedly made a deal over the phone, but immediately started getting the run around when the sales manager insinuated that my trade had been in an accident. Then they made me wait 20 minutes while they "worked numbers" or whatever they do. Finally, the sales manager tells me that I am asking too much for my trade. When I tell him I had it appraised at CarMax, he asks me to drive home and bring him the appraisal. I tell him my offer stands as agreed on the phone. Of course he goes back behind the sales mangers station, gets on the phone again and makes me wait some more. As part of this pressure game, he keeps the keys to my trade, so I can't leave. Finally I reach the end of my patience, walk to the counter, grab my keys and walk out. Of course they call me later and tell me they will do the deal. Too late...bought somewhere else. Would not have returned even if they had lowered the price. Unbelievable lack of respect for the customer! More
