Not only would I recommend buying a car from here, but I would purchase another. And William is the best; I met him that afternoon and by the end of the evening I felt as if I had known him for years. A bar has been set for any other vehicle purchases I make in the future. More
First, I am a military veteran and a member of USAA. I asked if they honored the USAA car buying service pricing, and they didn't even blink an eye - I logged into a computer with the Jeep I was intereste asked if they honored the USAA car buying service pricing, and they didn't even blink an eye - I logged into a computer with the Jeep I was interested in, entered all the features, and the price it came up with was the price we began with - no hassle. The staff helped me narrow down the choices of what I was looking for, they answered my questions, and (most importantly) they were absolutely not pushy. I am the type that if someone tries to rush me into a decision, I will leave on the spot and never look back. With so many new features and computerized nuances, on my first visit, I sat in a Jeep with Thad as he patiently explained each and every feature - we must have been in the vehicle for over an hour! The time he spent made it incredibly helpful for me to understand what options I was interested in and which I felt I could do without. Knowing I was making a very well informed decision is crucial to avoiding buyer's remorse later... I felt very comfortable knowing what I was purchasing for my hard earned dollar. I had two trade-ins to get appraised on this deal. Tony worked the deal on the trade-in value. I had a 2007 Ford 5.4L V8 Triton with under 30K miles and a Ford Mustang V6 Coupe with almost 33K miles - both were in almost mint condition. I did my homework and knew the worth of both vehicles, which helped. Tony, as expected at any dealership, tried to low-ball me pretty badly by leaving off a few options that my vehicles had and listing them both at just Fair condition (which by Kelly's Blue Book definition means they have rust and dents and so forth - which my vehicles obviously did not have any of). To Tony's credit, he offered to sit down and show me on his system how he came up with his offer. I pointed out the mistakes in the entries and held my position on the condition of the vehicles. He wanted to make a customer out of me and we negotiated what I felt was a fair trade-in value. If he hadn't been willing to negotiate, I would have left and never turned back, so I am pleased that he was willing to do business and meet me at a better price. Chris handled my financing and discussed warranty options. He was knowledgeable and fantastic to talk with. He didn't try to pressure anything, even though I opted not to buy any extended coverages (because the warranty coverage that comes with these vehicles is outstanding to start with). I traded in my F-150 on the spot and the dealership was superbly flexible on getting my Mustang to their location. They sent a fantastic Porter to drive with my in my new Jeep to my house. The Porter was a very nice young man finishing his senior year in high school. He was polite, courteous and didn't mind helping me get some snow out around the Mustang for him to drive it back to the dealership. All and all, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. As I stated, everyone should expect to have to deal on one area or another, but at less-professional dealerships, the sales staff will get pushy and rude if you try to knock down the price of the vehicle or try to get more out of your trade-in --- NOT HERE! I was taken aback and was extremely pleased with their willingness to negotiate a fair price... In fact, with the USAA pricing and getting in the mid-to-high trade in value for TWO vehicles I think I got an absolute steal! This is what makes a Five-Star Dealership the only way to go! More
I prefer "low stress" sales - show me the item available for purchase, provide relevant information, answer questions and give me a few minutes to think about it. All of my requirements were met. The sales for purchase, provide relevant information, answer questions and give me a few minutes to think about it. All of my requirements were met. The sales team was informative and friendly. I have also had serviced performed by the service team at the dealership. This experience was also pleasant and low stress. I recommend this dealership for sales and for service on one's vehicle. From the Salesman approaching us in the parking lot to the Sales Manager working with us to get to a price that we could both agree on to the Finance person helping us with our "complex trade" (we traded the Sales Manager working with us to get to a price that we could both agree on to the Finance person helping us with our "complex trade" (we traded in a vehicle that was worth more then the vehicle we were purchasing, all were pleasant and helpful and patient. It was a great experience and we will recommend the Dealership to friends. More
I would unconditionally recommend this dealership. As my wife put it, " buying our Jeep was the most relaxed and painless vehicle purchase we ever made". From Wiliam(our salesman), Tony(general manager) and wife put it, " buying our Jeep was the most relaxed and painless vehicle purchase we ever made". From Wiliam(our salesman), Tony(general manager) and Chris(finance), they were all very respectful and helpful and made this purchase one to remember. Thank you all, we will be sending friends to your dealership. More
On Tuesday, with(Barbara Fisk), I had the car diagnosed for $110. I was told 2 hours labor at $110/hr and diagnostic fee would be waived, if they did the work. I was looking for specific plug and asked if for $110. I was told 2 hours labor at $110/hr and diagnostic fee would be waived, if they did the work. I was looking for specific plug and asked if I would only be charged labor if I brought in my own parts. She answered YES. So I got the parts and put half of them on myself. On leaving I paid the diagnostic fee. On Thursday I asked Barbara if she would still wave the diagnostic fee and she said YES. Then I explained that I had replaced half the plugs and wires myself so could she just charge me an hour for the other 3. (6 cylinder) She said YES. I said great and they did the work. When I get the bill it is for $110.00. She couldn't understand that I had paid the diagnostic fee from the previous day and that should be credited and applied to the 1 hour labor charges. When we spoke with manager (Chris Morrison), he said 1 cylinder or 6, the price is the same. I explained to him that is not what she just promised me before the work was done. First he tried to tell me what she said when he wasn't even there. I explained again that she specifically told half the labor since i did half the plugs and wires myself. He didn't care one bit. On leaving I (unhappily) paid for another $110.00 Update: Contacted by "General Manager". She refunded my money and was very nice about it. More
I will not go back to this place again. PERIOD. In my opinion, the service advisors and managers, including the general manager of this location were not helpful and treated me unfairly for charging me f opinion, the service advisors and managers, including the general manager of this location were not helpful and treated me unfairly for charging me for time spent on trying to fix a problem they could not even diagnose. I believe this is unfair and not customer friendly type of service. Lastly, the General Manager was very unprofessional and acted inappropriately towards the situation and myself. I guess the reviews on this place are correct after all. You be the judge. I wish I would have read the reviews before taking my Dodge here. More
From the first contact with Mr. Sony Pierre, to the moment I drove off the lot in my new Jeep, Sony provided friendly, courteous, professional, helpful and outstanding service. If not for Sony, I may moment I drove off the lot in my new Jeep, Sony provided friendly, courteous, professional, helpful and outstanding service. If not for Sony, I may not have purchased my new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Fair Oaks Jeep. I was approached by several dealerships after filling out a search online for the Jeep I wanted, but speaking with him over the phone was comfortable and pleasant, enough so that I chose to work with him over the others. I would like to recommend him highly as the salesperson you want to work with, and his manager, Tony, as well. (Unfortunately, during my transaction, Mr. Marvin Riveria, was tasked with processing the financial paperwork. Mr. Riveria nearly had me walking out the door in tears after his brash attitude and insulting statements and tone. He made reference to how the dealership "stepped down" on my trade-in and sold me the car for under sticker price. I felt he was insinuating they were doing me a large favor and that I was taking advantage. I was very offended. Luckily, Mr. Pierre willingly and kindly took over and brought the buying experience back to where it should be, a pleasant one. More
We were on vacation from Toronto to Washington when our Dodge Dakota had a right front wheel bearing let go. Of course this happened on a Sunday! After limping the truck to a nearby hotel we found Fair Oak Dodge Dakota had a right front wheel bearing let go. Of course this happened on a Sunday! After limping the truck to a nearby hotel we found Fair Oaks Chrysler in the yellow pages and were happy to learn that they opened early at 6am Monday. We were there at opening and were greeted by Ricky- an amazing service advisor. Within minutes the truck was being repaired by Ron, who not only fixed the wheel bearing but another minor steering problem that we had been struggling with for months. Thankfully the parts we needed were in stock and 2 hours after arrival we were back on the road. We are thrilled with the service and attention that we received at Fair Oaks and would not hesitate to recommend them! More
