Never Fail Perfection In October I had a little fender bender; I had the repairs done at East Hartford Hoffman Collision. The Geico rep quoted a four day turn around. I use In October I had a little fender bender; I had the repairs done at East Hartford Hoffman Collision. The Geico rep quoted a four day turn around. I used them instead of going to Executive Jeep in Wallingford because that place was Geico "preferred" so the work was guaranteed for life. They had my Jeep for 5 weeks and it cost me a grand in rental car fees, and that was with Enterprise being super cool and giving me the Geico daily rate. NOTHING went right. They ordered the wrong parts, they lost my JEEP center cap off a rim, they sent me home minus one locking lug nut so I drove an SRT8 Cherokee home driving spirited as always with four lugs on the front passenger tire. That could have been catastrophic. The valve stems were missing caps off of two tires. the new front bumper cover they painted had overspray with sand grain sized blemishes along the edges, visible from 10 feet away. et cetera et cetera et cetera. The worst part was the Hoffman service advisor I was assigned called me once in the first week of repair. Every call after that was initiated be me, the customer. it got to the point when I called, Collin would say "you want an update on your Jeep, huh..?" I regretted my decision from the moment I gave them my key fob. I spoke with the manager and told him of my troubles about 3 weeks in. He found my center cap, he replaced all four locking lugs but refused to assume responsibility of the rental car costs I incurred due to his employee’s incompetence. I am currently submitting a claim with the department of insurance for a reimbursement of the rental car fees. I have never encountered anything but true greatness at Executive Jeep. Anthony Elder is so good; I remember his name and smile when I see him and ask how is doing if I'm just coming in for an oil change. I will never make the mistake of having anyone else touch my vehicle. I am going to try to get reimbursement from Geico to address the overspray on the botch job, but only if Executive can fix it.
