I brought my Honda Element to Executive Honda, 1194 North Colony Rd, Wallingford CT, for an oil change, ignition system check, and for a squeaking wheel. They told me the vehicle needed extensive repairs, including suspension and exhaust, exceeding $4900! The repairs were highlighted red on an estimate form, stating that they required immediate attention. I was told flanges on the exhaust system were rotted bad and will break very soon. Some of the work they quoted included repairs that they had already done a half a year ago! For a second opinion, I took the vehicle to another established auto repair company, who confirmed only a loose heat shield and fixed it for $45. Honda quoted $120 to repair the same heat shield. I took the vehicle to yet another established auto repair company, and they too could not see any of the problems noted in the Executive Honda assessment. Executive Honda was claiming my vehicle urgently needed extensive and costly repairs that are apparently completely unnecessary. Because of this I have lost all confidence in their credibility and integrity. I will not be going back. If you go to Executive Honda in Wallingford and get a repair estimate, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. More
I brought my Element in because the break light kept coming on. They charged 120.00 to run a diagnostic on the car, and they drove it around the block. They never examined the brakes themselves. They told me to ignore the light and sent me on my way. 5 days later I was in a crash when the brakes failed. I called to tell them, and my paperwork regarding my visit could not be found. I have an '03 Honda Civic with 65,000 miles and always have routine maintenance service done - EVERY TIME I get an oil change they tell me I need something else, after this last time I had enough and decided I wanted a second opinion, found out I needed absolutely NOTHING done and the work that was already done is not needed for another 50,00 miles. STAY AWAY!! More

Not that I look forward to going for car servicing - I equate it to going to the dentist, no one really wants to go but the consequences are worse if we don't - but I enjoy going to your Service Center. I feel like I am genuinely welcomed when I arrive and am extremely comfortable with the entire team, no matter who is coordinating my service that day. More
