Don’t trust them, check everything I came for a regular oil change. The service rep named Steve told me that I also needed two more services, one of them was the air filter change and t I came for a regular oil change. The service rep named Steve told me that I also needed two more services, one of them was the air filter change and the other was some type of cleaning within the engine. At first I did not dispute those. While we were working on it, someone who appeared to be a manager (not sure who he was as he did not introduce himself to me) approached my service rep and questioned these two services, whether they were needed. The rep and the manager were engaged in the conversation for about two minutes, afterwards the manager stepped away. I asked the rep what was it all about, the response was “don’t worry, we will do it my way”. I gave him the keys and went to the waiting area. Once there I googled and found the 2016 BUICK Lacrosse service schedule to see what was actually recommended for me at the time of my visit. None of these two services were listed as needed at my mileage or age of the car. One of them was not shown at a all, the other was needed in a year or at additional 12,000 miles. I took that to the rep and did show him and said since they are not shown for my mileage/year of use I did not want them. His response? “Whatever”. That was it, no explanation, no apology. Nothing. This is the second time at EWING that not needed services are being presented as a must. Similar thing happened on my prior visit. In my experience you cannot trust the EWING BUICK service department, they will lie to you and sell you what you do not need. This is my last time there, I will take my car elsewhere going forward. Neither intend to buy from them anything. The other EWING dealership that sells Mercedes is also impacted.We bought ML there in 2014, needed new tires now, they did send us a nice offer with a discount. Not going there neither, EWING has an issue and does not deserve my money. Cannot be trusted. Stay away. More
