We were able to make the deal, sign the paperwork and drove home with the car in about 3.5 hours. This was the most painless car buying experience I have ever had!!! More
Pete was friendly, patient and understanding of our financial goals when buying our new 2012 Dodge Journey. There was never any pressure and we were gien a few days t oactually make our decision to buy financial goals when buying our new 2012 Dodge Journey. I purchased a new 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport on May 23rd. Our sales guy, Pete was awesome. He was helpful in every way. He made sure all my questions were answered and I was happy with my purchased. The Our sales guy, Pete was awesome. He was helpful in every way. He made sure all my questions were answered and I was happy with my purchased. The finance guy, Mike was not great. It stated out great. He was going through all the paperwork with us. Once he got to the extra stuff (additional warranty, oil changes) I stopped him and said, "let me stop you right here. I don't need the extra crap. I just want to finance for the price of the Jeep". Now, maybe crap wasn't a word I should have used but I am the customer and frankly, I will use any word I want. I was buying a $26,000 car. Mike at that point took the piece of paper that had all the details of the additional items I could purchase and wrote on the paper, “Customer states, he doesn't want the crap". This surprised me a bit and I asked him in the term "crap" was a normal verbiage people uses and laughed. He states, "I am new and I don't want them to think I don't know what I am doing. Plus it is all on video". His attitude sucked so bad, I was ready to walk out then and there. But after 4 hours, I didn't want Pete to lose the sale all because of this poor attitude finance guy. So I sat there dealing with his rudeness until the paper work was done and I got my keys. Once home, the whole situation bugged me. This was the second Jeep I have purchased from Ewald and to think I was treated so poorly really upset me. Over the next few days I thought about returning the Jeep. As much as I loved the Jeep, I was upset. I decided to call the dealership and let them know of a few things that had upset me. I had discovered a few other things about the whole transaction which made me questions my experience. 1) Why was I not offered the no payments for 90 days? 2) Why was I not offered the interest rate of 3.34% with a credit rating of 830? 3) And of course my experience with Mike. I had to call twice and leave a message before anyone called me back. First Pete called. He stated that he would transfer me to Mike. I explained I didn’t want to communicate with Mike since he was the problem; there was no point in talking to him. Pete then stated he would have Andrew call me (the manager). Two days later Andrew called. I explained my situation and asked my few questions I had. He stated that he would look into it and give me a call back. It’s been a month now and no call. I will NEVER buy another car from Ewald again. It seems once their deliver you your car, they are done. After you sign your paper, that’s it, you mean nothing now. They have their money and who gives a flying pig poop. If this is the type of service I get when I buy a car, I will give my money to someone else who will treat me with respect and actually give a care. I am pretty sure that nothing ever happen to Mike and more than likely Mike and Andrew had a good laugh at what a sucker I was for buying one of their Jeeps. They have lost me as a customer for life. Ewald was extremely fair with us. The staff treated us with respect and the experience was very pleasant. Our salesman sold used vehicles but stepped up to the plate to work with us to understand our n with respect and the experience was very pleasant. Our salesman sold used vehicles but stepped up to the plate to work with us to understand our new car's features, pricing, etc. He looked into our questions and sought answers for us. We felt we were treated with respect because all financial discussions on the first night when we looked at the vehicle for the first time were granted the next night when we purchased the vehicle. The dealership remained loyal to their promises. We would recommend Ewald (and Frank Steele) to friends and acquaintances. More
I purchased a 2010 Ram 1500. Matt the salesman was awesome, he bent over backwards to help me get the deal I was looking for. Well a year has gone by and everything has gone downhill since. Upon revie awesome, he bent over backwards to help me get the deal I was looking for. Well a year has gone by and everything has gone downhill since. Upon reviewing a oil change service package I purchased during the closing(bad idea) it was not what was promised, but of course they have the paperwork with all the numbers scribbled down to make it look like I knew what I was getting. So in the end i'll end up paying $648.00 dollars for 12 oil changes, can you say major rip off. The service department is a joke. All the service advisers are rude and completely UN-professional. When I tried to file a complaint I was passed around from manger to manger. I believe they are hoping I just give up and go away. Do not buy any vehicle or have any service done here, it's a complete waste of your time and money. I still have mechanical issues that are unresolved. I have Filed a complaint with Chrysler headquarters and BBC. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Upon buying a 43, 000 dollar truck I would expect better customer service then this place offers. More

From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was treatred very well. Darrell was the sales rep and he showed me several Jeeps and I picked one out to test drive. I was so impressed that I decided treatred very well. Darrell was the sales rep and he showed me several Jeeps and I picked one out to test drive. I was so impressed that I decided to buy it. Darrell had my existing vehicle appraised and then came back with an offer and a price on the new Jeep. I countered this offer and when the sales manager met me halfway the deal was completed. Joshua explained in great depth the Xzylon coating system I could have applied as well as the various Jeep accessory add-ons. He explained the pricing and I made my selection. I then met with Andy to do all the paperwork related to the sale. Joshua then spent over an hour with me explaining all the features of the new vehicle and how to use them. Darrell made sure the new car was preped and transferred my plates to the new Jeep. I drove away very happy. More
