I chose the Ewald dealership due to being recommended by one of my coworkers at Columbia St. Mary. When I got there the staff was friendly and met you right at the doorwith hospitality. When I told Mr. Dooley, the car salesman my exact needs for the type of vehicle that I was looking for as well as what I had to spend, he found me just that. He kept me informed before, during, and after up until my search for the right vehicle was complete. He since then has even contacted me to find out how I am enjoying my vehicle. I thank him for that, as well as the dealership for making this experience in how frustrating purchasing a vehicle can be a short and sweet one. More
My visit to EWALD was very peaceful no pressure to buy in any time frame. The sale person stay with me most of the time was there, not treated like a number, that was important to me because I'm spending my any time frame. In purchasing my first vehicle, I felt that Ewald met all of my expectations when it came to making to process as easy as possible. When they threw out prices that I didn't feel great about, they worked and of my expectations when it came to making to process as easy as possible. When they threw out prices that I didn't feel great about, they worked and worked to do what they could for me to ensure that I would be leaving the dealership with the vehicle with of my choice for a price that I could afford. The employees were more knowledgable than those I've encountered at other dealerships that offered the same vehicles. Leave it up to better training I suppose. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a high quality vehicle. More

Went in wanting to bye a new Jeep Patriot 2013. Liked it but the seats were constricting . Matt suggested a Jeep Compass 2014 because the seats changed. I came into the dealership to get a price for my used car and ended up with a very nice truck in exchange. My issue is with the amount of time it took to get through the process and how long I was left waiti and ended up with a very nice truck in exchange. He even went to lunch while I was there from 10a until 4:30p when I finally drove off with my new used truck which was the only reason I stayed and put up with the neglect; I really liked the truck I purchased and wanted to drive home with it. We dealt with Mike. He did not always know the answer, but made an effort to find the answer and get back to us. We bought a used T&C that had a minor dent in a wheel well. Tried the dentless repair, but made an effort to find the answer and get back to us. We bought a used T&C that had a minor dent in a wheel well. Tried the dentless repair, and they agreed that it could not be done that way. Found this out 4 days after we agreed on the price and were scheduled to pick up the vehicle. They agreed to repair and we had to bring the van back another day. When we brought the vehicle into the service department, they did not have any record that it was being brought in. They did proceed to process without any hassle for me. We dropped it off last night, so no idea as to the quality of the repair. We had bought another van a month ago from another dealer, so we have a recent comparison. We had an appointment to close on the car at 4:30 and it took until 7:30 to finish. Paperwork does take time, but in the middle of the process, we waited over a half an hour to get to a finance person. At the other dealership, we were out in less than two hours. We got what we considered to be a good price on the van and the additional packages. More
Dealership extremely rude. Made a deal for a new Jeep, left deposit, and then they wanted to change the deal saying they had not included a agreed option in the price. When we asked for the deposit refund the general manager was extremely abusive saying they didn't have a person that could give us a credit card refund at 6pm. Said "maybe" they would do it the next day. Then told us to "get out" of the dealership. NEVER GO TO THIS OR ANY OTHER EWALD DEALERSHIP!!! More
I went in looking for a new Town and Country. I buy through the USAA car buying program and Ewald even knocked some off of that price. Needless to say, it was as low as price as you are gonna get. Alex was a young, energetic salesman that would actually go to bat for you. There was no hassle with price and delivery was quick. Andy Petty is a class act. Any questions I had were answered promptly and issues addressed. If you need to talk to someone, he is the the guy to go to. I had purchased a vehicle there before and had the same experience and they even remember your name. Not bad for a big city dealer. I bought extended warranty but changed mind afterwards and Andy handled all of the paperwork in a professional manner. Tina is prompt, helpful and friendly. We now love Minivans, and will not buy anywhere else other than Ewald. A good family owned business, and honestly just a good place to do business. Also a great selection of whatever vehicle you are looking for. A final note, they did give top dollar for my trade in, I did not expect that but it was a welcome sight and made things easier. They treat you how you want to be treated. I know this review may sound too positive, but this is my true experience. More
