Expect to be RIPPED OFF if you are a Woman "I am still livid about my experience here and cannot shake the feeling of being shamelessly extorted, as if I walked in with a target on my forehead. "I am still livid about my experience here and cannot shake the feeling of being shamelessly extorted, as if I walked in with a target on my forehead. Although I suppose being a young unassuming female is basically the same thing here." - - - - - As a young woman who does not have much knowledge of cars, I was nervous to bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for its first major repair issue after my check engine light started flashing. I have heard all the stories of opportunistic auto technicians taking advantage of naïve and especially female car owners. Armed with this awareness, I brought my business to this company and trusted I would find honest workers who would put my best interests first. I left feeling absolutely RAKED OVER THE COALS by slimy technicians who promised me their best deal. A $2,000 engine replacement was the only fix, they said, but since they were looking out for me they had gone ahead and applied a coupon to save me some money. However, this fix could only happen after they took the engine apart for inspection, which combined with labor cost me $447. Four Hundred and Forty Seven dollars. Just to locate the issue. I was facing about $2500 in total to have my car repaired. This is over 1/3 the cost of the entire car I had bought gently used only a year earlier. At a loss and feeling the abuse in my wallet, I opted for a second opinion and took my car to a nearby small business auto shop called Piller's Auto Repair. The owner Steve immediately allayed my fears, and talked through the issues my car was facing. He even, of his own volition, suggested a MUCH less expensive fix that would solve my problem without having to do any major replacements. After about a week in Steve's care my car was ready to be picked up. Inspection, diagnostics, Engine filter arm fix, oil change, AND brand new battery for a grand total of $422.04. Catch that? ALL of the work - labor, new pieces, oil change and even a brand new xxxxxxx battery for LESS than it cost me to have the vultures at Ewald simply look at my engine. I am still livid about my experience here and cannot shake the gross feeling of being shamelessly exploited, as if I walked in with a target on my forehead. Although I suppose being a young unassuming female is basically the same thing here. I have already warned my family members and female friends not to bring their business here but consider this a PSA to any other women considering Ewald for their car needs. The boy's club mentality is alive and well here and you will not be treated fairly. More

I have purchased thru dealership for 8 years, bought new and used, most recent a used car on New Year's Day, I happened upon a must have, but have also referred friends and everyone has agreed afterwards ONLY dealer they will ever use. Salesmen to service all take the time to assure you are completely satisfied, happy and have always received a great deal without the games other dealerships like to play. If you go for service the waiting area is wonderful and every area of dealership is well kept and clean, you can tell they really take pride in thier dealership as well as customer service. More

Don't go to this dealer if you want a fair deal! This dealer likes to play games and makes you think they are going to give you a good deal when they actually don't! Be sure to do your homework and This dealer likes to play games and makes you think they are going to give you a good deal when they actually don't! Be sure to do your homework and check on-line to see what other dealers are selling the same type of car for. Also check Kelly blue book for the value of your trade. Great buying experience! I have bought many cars from quite a few different dealerships. I just happend to drive by after a very frustrating experience with my old Dealership I have bought many cars from quite a few different dealerships. I just happend to drive by after a very frustrating experience with my old Dealership of 10 years, So I decided to stop in and see what was on the lot. I was very pleased with the selection they had to offer. I tool a few vehicles for a drive but could not find the perfect one. I'm very picky and my salesman Lonnie Peterson took very good care of me, he even came in on his day off to help me find the perfect SUV for my wants & needs. He went far beyond any salesman I've ever delt with. After about 3 days of several hours each we found my perfect car! I'm glad I stopped happy with every thingß More

Best car buying experience yet! Stopped by on Sat 1/31/2015 to look at a vehicle that we saw in the front row of the lot. After my husband took it for a test drive, we decided we wer Stopped by on Sat 1/31/2015 to look at a vehicle that we saw in the front row of the lot. After my husband took it for a test drive, we decided we were interested. Since we had our 3 kids with us, it was great that there was a play room that kept them entertained while we started the paperwork. Our salesman was very nice. It was the end of the month, so, there was some waiting, but, we went home, dropped off the kids and came back. I loved that there wasn't any "pushy" sales, no pressure. We would definitely come back to Ewald! More
Frustrating Experience We had visited the dealership two times before purchasing. Up to this point, the experience was great. The day we went to purchased, we were forced to We had visited the dealership two times before purchasing. Up to this point, the experience was great. The day we went to purchased, we were forced to listen to an "add on" presentation that we made clear we were not interested in. Then, after we signed the papers, the second key was missing, and our gas tank was COMPLETELY empty. It took them over 4 days to finally "find" the missing key, which I had to drive out the the dealership to pick up, YET the key was not working, and they had to order a new one, which took a week. All the while I had requested to speak to the GM, and I NEVER received a call back or a meeting when I was at the dealership. Once the key finally came in, I was told they would pick up my car and program the key, yet the Service person said they do not do that, yet another frustration and lie. In order to get the key programmed, I had to take my 2 small children back to the dealership to sit and wait for over an hour. Not once were we asked about our experience or was anyone willing to hear my frustrations or remedy them. More
