Ben was very professional and helpful to let me know what might the problem was and what it might take to correct it. He also gave me a heads up on what the cost would be. might the problem was and what it might take to correct it. He also gave me a heads up on what the cost would be. More

First of all I have been very pleased with John, my Service writer at Everett Ford so none of this is a reflection on him. Regarding my recent service experience, I am pretty disappointed. I took m Service writer at Everett Ford so none of this is a reflection on him. Regarding my recent service experience, I am pretty disappointed. I took my 2024 F350 Diesel in for an oil change and had the tires rotated for an additional $10.00 as part of a Service Special. Ordinarily I have my tires rotated and balanced at Discount Tire at no charge, but I figured it’d save me a little time. The tires were rotated but on my way home the low pressure alert went off. I discovered Everett Ford neglected to adjust the tire pressures so I had 60 psi in the rear and 80 psi in the front, exactly opposite of what it should have been. Therefore, I had to adjust the tire pressures myself which is not a big deal but was pretty inconvenient after paying for the rotation. The oil change was fine but it had to be done too early due to an issue that I think should have been covered under warranty. I had the oil changed at about 19,000 miles. At about 21,000 miles the truck’s computer messed up and it lost GPS and oil life information so my oil life monitor reset itself to zero. That was fixed with a software update during another earlier to the dealer. Based on mileage only, Everett recommended an oil change at 5000 miles according to the sticker they placed on the windshield at the 19,000 mile oil change. Five thousand miles later, at 24,000 miles, the oil life monitor indicated I had about 80% oil life left, but since the monitor zeroed out at 21,000 miles, I had no idea of how much oil life I actually had. So I ended up paying for a diesel oil change ($135.00) much earlier than I should have. I suppose I could have waited but I rely on the oil life monitor to protect the engine (and warranty coverage) and that information was inaccurate due to the oil life monitor having been reset. Of course this is not Everett Ford’s fault but it is a Ford issue. However, Everett Ford does offer free donut holes in the waiting area, so that’s one positive thing about my recent experience. More
