Service Center Experience 11/21/2018: Estero Bay Chevrolet has failed multiple attempts to fix my Corvette correctly in multiple ways. Their technicians have terrible attention 11/21/2018: Estero Bay Chevrolet has failed multiple attempts to fix my Corvette correctly in multiple ways. Their technicians have terrible attention to detail and workmanship. I have had issues the last 5 times I have picked up my car from them rendering me to have to return and have things put back to an acceptable level. Their Assistant Service Manager (Fred) does not return your phone calls in a timely manner or at all in some cases. The Service Writer (Michael) feels it is okay to charge the customer even though the issue has not been fixed. The Service Manager (Bob) and others are open to telling me that my 2006 Corvette is old and has high mileage. Update: 01/14/2019 I finally got my car back after the dealer kept it for a month. The technician that removed one of my engine covers must not have known how to put it back on fully because once again the car was not put back together correctly. They replaced another part but still could not fix or figure out what I have brought it in 4 times for over the past 78 days. The service manager (Bob) still believes the customer should pay for parts that have been replaced that do not solve the original issue and that their own mechanic admitted to just changing based on what he thought would fix the issue without troubleshooting. Why would they spend a second truly troubleshooting the actual cause before lying to the customer and just changing parts blindly? Also, don't expect clear consistent communication even from Pat, the managing partner of the dealer who does not return your calls and forwards you to others like Bob. More
