Without any nicety, he asked what I was looking for and then IMMEDIATELY made it clear, VERY CLEAR, he wasn't going to move on the price. Okay well. I know now to never purchase a car from this place again. It wasn't the price I was concerned about...it was his attitude. Secondly, the service department. What a joke. The technicians are sloppy and make it clear based on their work that they could care less about your car. Oil spilled inside engine compartment, etc.. Sometimes work is incomplete even after asking them to do something specifically or worse yet they break something else when you brought the car in to fix something else. I'm here to get my car in a better state not a worse one. Attention to detail is seriously lacking. Service people are rude, and disrespectful to others and to customers. I literally will drive 50 miles to get my car serviced else where from now on. EVS is terrible. The female VW service consultant (forgot her name) and a VW tech called Josh were the reason for my service woes. More

The EVS salespeople were professional and answered all my questions. EVS did not have a Golf in stock in the color that I wanted and none were available in the local area. So, they found a car about 300 miles away and delivered it within a few days. After I took delivery of the car, the sales manager made sure that certain VW accessories (which arrived a few days later) were promptly installed. More

This has got to be the worse car buying experience I ever had. The Sales person was quiet and distant throughout the whole transaction, which left me and my wife in the dark with what was happening. We did ask a few times for updates to where we were in the financing process, but they simply just took my driver’s license and told me that they will get me when the finance representative will be ready for me. That took a good two hours of us sitting, and throughout the whole time waiting, the sales representative only checked on us once. The next day, I looked over the paperwork and realized that they switched the wrong plate number to my car, did not add my wife to the title, and titled it at the wrong address. Again, we were left in the dark for almost two hours waiting and no one ever went through the paperwork to confirm that everything was correct before we signed. Yes, I should have looked over the paperwork more closely, but they kept us waiting so long that they were already at closing time by the time we met with the finance representative. So, the signing of the paper work was rushed through. When I called the sales representative to tell her that the information on the title was not correct, she had the nerve to tell me that if I would have bought the car the day before when I first saw the car, she would have more time with me. Apparently she was too busy to help me the day that I did buy the car (the sales representative was only help one other customer and the dealership was almost empty). They did update the plate number, but they were not willing to update the title with my wife’s name or address. The sales representative simply stated that they are not able to do that (with no explanation why). Again, the worse car buying experience ever! CV More

Very Uncomfortable place to buy a Car, Old and outdated Showroom, Bathroom looks and smells like something out of a 1950 Crime thriller. Used cars that was shown to me were very nasty inside. Was not offe Showroom, Bathroom looks and smells like something out of a 1950 Crime thriller. Used cars that was shown to me were very nasty inside. Was not offered Coffee or Water when I sat down to negotiate. Maybe they offer refreshments after you buy. I was there for over three hour's not to buy a Car. Haggling back in forth, something I hate with a passion. They try really hard to sell their cars at sticker price. The Salesman who work there seem very depressed and not very friendly unless your doing business with them directly. I would not recommend anyone to do business here unless you have no alternative to purchase a vehicle, just beware you will be overcharged and at a very high Interest rate. More
I went to Ernie Von Schledorn in search of a used truck. I found one on their lot that had a decent price on it an asked them to set up a test drive (2008 F150). When I got there to test drive it the salesm I found one on their lot that had a decent price on it an asked them to set up a test drive (2008 F150). When I got there to test drive it the salesman was parking the truck after taking it to the car wash. He walked inside after introducing himself and I begun to look the truck over and began to notice a lot of things wrong with the truck. The roof was leaking water through the third brake light, the tailgate was coming apart, there was a bushing missing on the tailgate hinge, the hood was bubbling up with rust, the truck had not been serviced at all before putting it on the lot, the air filter was extremely dirty, and this is just the beginning. After talking with the salesman and him agreeing to fix anything wrong with the truck I drove it and noticed that the brakes were in really bad shape and there was a clunk in the rear-end. After taking it overnight we made a deal for them to fix some stuff and come down on the price a little. The next day I day I decided that it just wasn't in my best interest to buy a truck with so many problems and so I let them know that I wasn't interested in buying the truck anymore and the salesman got very mad and begun to tell me that I am not a good person and that I wasn't going to get my down payment back. It took many phone calls to get them to agree to give me my money back and now after almost 3 weeks I still haven't seen it. This after being told that it would only take 10 days to process it and get a check in the mail. I would NEVER go there for anything. I also found out that buying a vehicle there is known as buying a vehicle from "Dirty Ernie". Save yourself some grief and shop somewhere more reliable. More
