WARNING: DO NOT TRUST THE SALESMEN at Envision Toyota. These fast-talking capitalists sold me a xxxxed-up car and then did nothing but charge me more when I had to tow it back the next month. God forbid you buy a car from them without additionally purchasing every type of warranty possible because the quality of their vehicles is abysmal. First, when I was buying the car, they tried to surprise charge me an extra $2,000 for some coat of paint they said “comes with the car” and only dropped that when I got up to leave. Ultimately, the 2018 Prius I bought from them had MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE and spark plug from work THEY had done on it prior to selling, which they didn’t catch. The issues with the car would have been nearly impossible for me then to catch within the first 30 days. For the first two weeks the car was fine, but then it started shaking lightly when I turned it on. This car is completely different than my previous vehicle and it was difficult to know immediately what was a new personality versus a life-threatening issue. None of the car hazard lights had started turning on at that point as well. It wasn’t until a few days later that the check engine light would turn on and off. I immediately took the vehicle to Pep Boys first because they’re much closer to where I live and they found several issues with the spark plug and engine, quoting me $1,100 to fix. They cited missing hub caps, CYLINDER MISFIRES, WATER PUMP ISSUES and fluid from a COOLANT LEAK, all affecting the engine of a recently purchased car! Once I realized this was a major issue, I knew I needed to return to the West Covina dealers. Unfortunately, I could not make it to the dealership as the engine problems were so bad, the car became undrivable on the highway, with the BRAKE SYSTEM COMPLETELY MALFUNCTIONING and engine warning blaring. I waited an hour on the busy shoulder of I-10 East for a AAA tow. A police officer noticed me idling and stopped to make sure I was okay. Mistakes happens, but this was a major mistake on THEIR part, and when I had to bring it back just weeks later their best option was pay $5,000 to fix it (four times what Pep Boys quoted) or sell it back for $12,000 (a fraction of its worth) and buy a new 2022 Prius they had for $17,000. I spoke to a sales manager named Manny and his immediate response was to shake me down for cash I did not have. It was clear I was overwhelmed especially after spending an hour on the side of the freeway and he was ready to use that disarray to walk me out to a more expensive vehicle, already talking financing options. I could all but see Manny counting the commission in his head while I was trying not to cry. I may be young and clearly naïve, but I’m not stupid enough to trust the people who sold me a lemon to not do it again! It makes me wonder how many other people had they done this to? For a lead sales agent to make this offer so easily, it must be a tactic of theirs. Fellow buyers be warned, as I truly fear who next might fall into their trap of selling you junk then reselling you more junk the next month for an even greater profit. The service team at least proved capable of basic human empathy but their senior sales manager John was almost annoyed I expected anything from them. People NEED to know exactly what they’re risking when they buy a product from this team. To discover the issue their service team had to put a camera inside my engine. How would I have been able to do that myself? I live in a faraway city, don’t have the flexibility to take off work and the issues did not immediately present themselves. Doesn’t matter. Because it had been thirty-five days, I was out of luck. They are TRAINED FABRICATORS and liars who will blah-blah-legal-blah their way out of accepting any accountability. **You may be able to bulldozer over me because I’m just one person, but any establishment that conducts business like this is destined to fail long term** More

Long wait with appointment, had appointment at 0900am then got moved to 0940 when I arrived at 0845.
