Took longer than expected, but worth the wait Based on a promotion by my credit union, I started looking at cars on Enterprise online, and found a couple I liked. When I went to the office in Orange, the ladies who helped me were very knowledgeable and careful about making sure the cars I was interested in really had the features I wanted. After making some calls and verifying that, it was decided to transfer a car from Oregon. The process ended up taking more than a week for the car to make it's way down from Oregon, and the timeline I was given for that was extremely loose ("...could be a couple days, could be a couple weeks, shouldn't be more than a month..."), which I wasn't thrilled with, given the over $1000 I was paying for the transfer. Then when the car did arrive in CA, I found out they couldn't sell me the car until a dealer recall issue was fixed, which was a complication since dealers didn't have the parts yet, so that was another delay until they found a local dealer with the parts willing to do it, and that was some great customer service there, getting that done in a day. So it was a mixture of a little bit of frustration, but for a great result. I got a great trade-in value for my car, an easy loan process at their office but for my credit union loan, and a great price for the car. And everybody I dealt with was super nice and helpful, and very patient with my autistic 7 year old son who came along for all of my visits! More
