I recently encountered an unusual problem that I did not know how to address. Out of nowhere my cell phone de-linked itself from my 2024 XC90 and I did not know how to reconnect it. Normally the dealer's te know how to address. Out of nowhere my cell phone de-linked itself from my 2024 XC90 and I did not know how to reconnect it. Normally the dealer's technician, Nino Gambino, has, over many years, been able to address any issue of my many Volvos over the years. Nino was so kind as to attempt to walk me thru it but I have an usual model phone that he was not aware of and he said that in some cases certain Volvo models have different cell phone hookups. After Nino so graciously attempted to help me remotely, he suggested I tried Volvo On Call. The Volvo On Call person tried but I realize they are not really technicians. Her response was that her manual says my phone is not compatible with my car. When I said that it has been working for almost a year without ever an issue. She suggested that I had to bring the car to the dealer. After again speaking to Mr Gambino he said that the dealership has a guy, they call "Little Danny" that is expert on all the cell phone issues. He said that I could come in most any time during the week and he was sure he could resolve it. Based on my confidence in Nino, his endorsement was fine for me. As she always is, the administrative assistant was gracious enough to go find Danny when I arrived. Danny could not have possibly been more pleasant, In literally less then 3 minutes he had the phone relinked to the car and working perfectly as it had before. I thank not only Nino for his time in trying, and Danny for his effort, but the dealership in making such an obviously valuable member of your staff available to address such mishaps. We all know how we are so reliant on our phones nowadays. More

My experiences over the past few years at Empire have been primarily with Service Advisor Nash and Technician Nino, with Nino a constant in servicing our many Volvos at various dealerships that he's been employed at over the years. In my experience as a Volvo owner of various models for the past 43 years, having service (and in some cases sales) experience in no less than four Long Island Volvo dealerships, together, Nash and Nino represent an ideal combination for trusted advice, skills, and experience. More
