Everybody - even people who weren't assisting me - was friendly, down to earth, good humored, and really nice. Everyone seemed interested in whether I liked the car and how the process went. Brandon Rodriguez was my sales guy and he couldn't have been nicer. I really trusted him to give me the information about what I could get for my trade-in and what options in new cars were available. He was a good listener, he seemed very honest, and he had a nice personality. I felt very confident about my purchase because of him, and I felt well informed as to the particulars because of both him and the two other men who helped work out my sales agreement. I actually had fun this time! And I have never had "fun" buying a car before. I felt very taken care of, and like the guys were straight with me. I don't mean to gush, but I really would recommend Empire to anyone looking for a great deal, a great staff, and a really good car with a long warrantee. Nobody was too pushy and I never felt pressured, though the guys were xxxx bent on getting me a good car and they worked very hard to meet my needs. I really think customer service in the world is at an all-time low - and these guys were like a breath of fresh air. I would definitely buy my next car at Empire and I hope to send my mom next year! STAY AWAY!!! COMPLETE LIARS!!! I decided to give this place a shot despite the negative reviews, as they were one of the few dealerships in the area offering what I was looking I decided to give this place a shot despite the negative reviews, as they were one of the few dealerships in the area offering what I was looking for - a manual transmission certified pre-owned Accent. After confirming availability and price (including that there would be no hidden fees or anything) via email, I requested pictures as they indicated that the car had just come onto the lot, so they hadn't put any online yet. They took a few pictures of the exterior and sent them to me, and everything seemed fine. The issues came when I showed up on the lot. After calling a few hours after the email to make sure it was still there for me to look at, I made the drive and was referred to a salesman by the internet representative. First the salesman asks what I wanted to pay, and after being told that I had already confirmed the price he tells me "we'll see if we can get there". I should have left right then, but decided to play ball a little. I already made the trip Out there, so I might as well look. I told him I didn't want to discuss price any further, as I hadn't even seen the car yet. He goes to get the car, and a couple minutes later another salesman calls me outside. Based on the pictures I was given, I should have been looking at a dark blue sedan - but they brought out a light blue hatchback. I look inside, and it's an automatic. I let them know, and one person goes to track down the right car by the stock number, while the other one leads me around the lot where we find the exact car that the internet rep sent me pictures of - another automatic. Not only did they not have the car I was there to see, they did not have a single pre-owned manual transmission anywhere on the lot. Instead, four different salesmen tried to convince me that I should just buy an automatic. I left after being told they'd call me the next day when they look on their other lot. Four days later and they still haven't called. Bottom line, they flat out lied to me in order to get me onto the lot, thinking that I would buy whatever they put in front of me. If they're willing to lie just to bring you in, what else are they willing to lie about? Stay far away from these shady people. More
