The most unpleasant experience I have ever experienced! My daughter was looking for a car, and went to Empire on a Saturday to see if she could trade in her car for a newer one. They went through all the p My daughter was looking for a car, and went to Empire on a Saturday to see if she could trade in her car for a newer one. They went through all the paper work that needed to be done and she was told that she needed myself to come in and sign the paperwork for a co-signer. She was under the impression and told that all the numbers worked and that they were comfortable with her budget. We returned on Sunday only to find out they missed placed her paperwork from Saturday and went through the whole game playing again. We did, only to be told that the banks were closed on Sunday and they could not get numbers but her budget would work! They called her on Monday and told her to come in again to sign the papers and that she was all set! We showed up Monday night only to have our sales person, same one from Saturday and Sunday ask what bank our loan was from on her trade in and what was the payoff??? At this point, I had asked numerous times for someone to show us the selling price of the car and what were the giving us for the trade in. We got nothing but I'am not sure, we are very busy and more game playing. Finally, after sitting by ourselves, someone walked over and showed us the numbers. Guess what?????? Not even close to being all set!!! They upped her monthly payment and the cost of the car but they were giving her gap insurance! We stated that she was told that she was allset and the monthly payment they talked about would work. Verbal contract????????? Did not matter??? So we asked for her deposit back and for her car back (the one they took for trade and already had it sold because there was a hold for so and so written on the windshield). The worst part was.... when we left, no one apologized or even said good night to us!!! More
