I came into the Empire just to pick up my mom's new car she purchased with Syed and I ended up leaving with a brand new Hyundai as well. My wife and I had a great experience at Empire Hyundai. Mr Ronald Webb was very knowledgeable. He provided us many options on purchasing a new vehicle. He was also very knowledgeable in the car we purchased and provided a detailed breakdown of every feature in our new car. He also provided us with detailed information on the overall car itself. He also worked with his manager to provide us an affordable payment plan without affecting our budget. We definitely recommend either purchasing or leasing a car from Empire Hyundai. Saw a vehicle I liked and made an offer, got a call from Jessica and worked out a deal, she confirmed it with her manager. I asked her once more if she was sure about the price and she assured me it was all Jessica and worked out a deal, she confirmed it with her manager. I asked her once more if she was sure about the price and she assured me it was all set and we set up an appointment. I drove an hour and a half from NH to Fall River and liked the vehicle and was ready to make the deal. Paul told me he could not make the deal because they paid more for the car than the deal, but, would be willing to make a deal at a higher price (of course), I walked out, I will not do business with dishonest people!!! I am disgusted with this dealership and the people I dealt with. More
This was definitely a tough review to write because I had a great experience with my salesperson and a horrible experience with the finance guy. I am writing this review so others can avoid the situation I f a great experience with my salesperson and a horrible experience with the finance guy. I am writing this review so others can avoid the situation I found myself in at this dealership. My salesperson was friendly and very easy to deal with. Since I already had pricing from other dealers and they were willing to beat those prices so it was quite easy to work out the bottom line price. Once I signed on the dotted line with my salesman I figured I was all set. I was happy with the payment that was worked out. I was then brought into the back office where the finance guy informed me I either had to come up with tax money or my payment would go up. I had already given my salesman my money down and was under the impression that was all I needed to have the payment they gave me. I have been buying cars for 30 years and have never had this happen to me. Everytime I ever agreed to a payment and shook a salemans hand that was it. I am not stupid and know when someone is trying to pull a fast one. I almost cancelled everything until the taxes where mysteriously covered in the payment I wanted. What a joke. If I hadn't gotten such a good price and spend so much time there I wouldv'e left. Also the finance guy became very upset when all this was going on and became very short with me. I wish this was the end of this disaster but it was only the beginning. I was then offered a warranty at an unbelievably few dollars in my payment. So he does the paperwork and doesn't go over anything just tells me to sign here, here, and here. I was almost done until I noticed the paperwork from the bank was wrong. My loan had gone up a year and all of a sudden I knew why the warranty was gonna cost me peanuts everymonth. When I demanded the loan be change back the warranty over tripled in price. Wow this was one of the sneakiest thing I have ever had done to me. I just wanted to finish up and get the heck outa there. To make matters worse this guy is rude to me the rest of the time in his office because I caught him trying to screw me. I may be old but I miss the days of shaking a mans hand and having a done deal. I am still stunned at what happened and would not recommend anyone go there. The only reason I didnt give all 1's in this review was because I can't blame the salesman for what happened after. I left any names out of this because I blame the whole dealership for this and find it hard to believe they don't know and condone what this guy tried to do to me. Nice try fellows but I am not an idiot. This is too bad because I love my car. I wont be using my free year of service either for fear of what they would try to pull. More
Syed was incredible to buy a car through. He was genuine and warm and made me very happy and excited to make such an important purchase. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. The salesman was upfront, patient and answered all of my questions. My husband looked at a new vehicle with Syed, but couldn't test drive it or get a price because power had gone out in that part of Fall River. He really liked Syed. He went back next day and Syed was tied up with customer so Syed told him to come back in an hour, which my husband did. Upon arriving back Syed was at desk and nodded at my husband. The manager(?) went to Syed and pointed for him to go to another customer. Syed did not say anything to manager that my husband was back a third time, and was told to come back in an hour. My husband left the dealership. He ended up buying a higher rated Equinox at a completely different dealership not in Fall River. I even had been in email contact with someone at the dealership along the way during the process. Where's the customer service there?? Things happen for a reason, and my husband got a better vehicle elsewhere. This is WHY we would never go back to Empire! More
