I have to start my review with the fact that this dealer sells Chrysler products and my main problem is with the Chrysler product. Unfortunately this dealership sells Chrysler and takes the hit when Chrysl sells Chrysler products and my main problem is with the Chrysler product. Unfortunately this dealership sells Chrysler and takes the hit when Chrysler products brake down. Salesman Kyle Julian was a pleasure to do business with. No problems with him. Purchased a brand new Town and Country Touring Van. Brand New. Drove it home to Bay Shore on Thursday, June 20th. On Sat, June 22, packed up family for our first ride in our new automobile. Car started up then simply lost power and died. Did this several times and we canceled our plans and barely got the vehicle back home. Once engine shuts down, steering is lost as is just about everything else. A very serious problem that could result in a dangerous accident and serious injury of occurred on a major highway. Vehicle was towed back to Atlantic Chrysler on Sunrise Highway In West Islip on Sat, June 22nd. Manager Kyle assured me he would get the vehicle back to its 110%. I was requesting him to give me a different vehicle since this lease was signed less than 24 hours prior. He refused and I must admit, this Kyle needs some help in customer relations. Rich in service was professional and nice. However, my problem could not be duplicated as no codes appeared. I asked him to drive the vehicle a while to see if the problem happened again and he willing agreed. When the problem still could not be duplicated, Chrysler corporate was called by me and they were completely useless. Chrysler does not stand by its product. However this dealership continued to work with me knowing my concerns and fears. Together with Danielle in customer relations and service tech Frank and service manager Chris, we came to an amicable agreement. Frank and Chris took the time to explain everything they did to the vehicle and were very confident the problem was resolved. They were very patient with my questions and showed a true concern for my safety. I have faith in their expertise as I have had several vehicles serviced with them through the years and never had a problem. Although I would not recommend a Chrysler product, I would recommend Atlantic's service department and their customer service. More
I picked up a new Wrangler Unlimited about a month ago. During my search I dealt with many dealerships in Suffolk and I was disappointed in all of them. I didn't even give Atlantic a shot because I was under the impression that they'd be a shady, old school style dealership because that's the impression I've always gotten from their automall's too goo to be true advertisements. My only experience with them was calling them about a loaner car and running in to their parts counter and both were great experiences. I eventually bought my Jeep in the city and all of the dealers out here told me they wouldn't give me a loaner because I hadn't bought my car from them - good job, now I won't buy my next car from you either - genius strategy guys. The girl on the phone at Atlantic said she'd check for me and told me that they normally don't provide loaners in my situation, but they'd be able to if I called them in advance. This was thrilling news. A few days later I stopped in to grab an oil filter and I encountered a bit of a wait because of of their parts guys were busy. I don't know the gentleman I dealt with's name, but he had long hair, and sensing I was in a rush and had been waiting a bit he was very accommodating. It wasn't the biggest thing in the world, but it was apparent that he understood customer service and actually cared. I'll be back to Atlantic and that's a lot more than i can say about the 6 Chrysler stores I visited during my Jeep shopping experience. More

Steve was great. He was friendly, logical and honest. At our age we would have been turned off by a a high pressure saleman and Steve handled working with us very well and got us a very good deal. He has also been in contact with us several times since the sale. One issue is the shortage of finance people and always having to wait to see one. The biggest disappointment was the interest rate on your financing. We have excellant credit...850+ and were not able to get an interest rate below 4.9% without giving up the incentives or getting gap or gap+ insurance. We had to speak to Jason, the financial rep. who is a fast talker, a second time to get a better understanding of all the numbers. I think it is disgraceful by Chrystler, being forced to either give up the incentives or get the extra ins. for a lower interest rate, and it was almost a deal breaker. We are the kind of customers you want to have and also third time returnees to the Atlantic dealerships having leased/purchased two Honda Accords prior to this purchase. Exceptions should be made for well qualified, returning customers like us. More
I found the salesmen Shawn to be friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle. He worked to ensure my satisfaction and made the transition from my old vehicle to the new purchase easy and unevent knowledgeable about the vehicle. Ripoffs they put in Administrative fee's for $375 that were bogus and tried to force us into financing the car. The staff was inexperienced and the dealership was fifthly. Sal and Gary, the General Manager, were such a breath of fresh air after having experienced horrible customer relations at East Hills Jeep. East Hills called me and asked me to swap out my 2011 Jeep for a fresh air after having experienced horrible customer relations at East Hills Jeep. East Hills called me and asked me to swap out my 2011 Jeep for a new 2014 Jeep. After going to East Hills three times to have them inspect the car and work out a deal for the 2014 lease, they finally ask me to come in to pick up the new Jeep. When I got to the dealership, they put me in the Jeep, transferred my insurance and registration, and even went so far to pair my Iphone with the Jeep. After all of this, they asked me to come inside and then proceeded to tell me they needed to 'rework' the numbers and asked me for an extra $2000 and added $20 more to the monthly lease payment!!! When I called Gary at Atlantic Chrystler Jeep, he felt horrible for the way I had been treated and promised me he would remedy the situation. And he did! I spoke with Sal to go over the trade, and picked up the new Jeep the very next day! No hidden agendas, no sneaky tactics, just pure quality customer service. I highly recommend this dealership!!!
