This was a CT lease and the state of CT calculates not only the tax on the vehicle but also calculates property taxes.. Im sorry the customer was confused and we were unable to explain that more clearly. Id be happy to speak the customer myself and offer my apologies personally. Hi Ron, Please let me be very clear. I am not confused. The dealership has nothing to do with property tax, the state of CT will send the tax details (yearly) to Ally who will in turn send me the bill. Its nothing to do with the dealership.Your employee Sergio Medina could not read and understand what Ally was asking for. They wanted the sales tax broken down monthly instead of a one time payment (refer document sent by Ally) , whereas he kept on insisting its property tax. He clearly does not understand the difference between the two. Also he sent me a letter on the company letterhead stating that this extra amount he is asking for is property tax and I would not be liable for it as he has included it in the lease.(he should have a copy of it, if not I can send it over to you) So to be precise, I have 3 issues.One, I had already paid tax as an aggregate along with the downpayment I made of $2550. I should not have been liable to more monthly which I have already agreed to paying because none of the employees really understand.Second, your employees lack the knowledge, according to Sergio property tax and sales tax are the same thing and Steve supported him to some extent till he realized Sergio was wrong. Third, your employees lack customer service they were exceptionally rude and even after realizing their mistake they were not apologetic instead you along with them are insisting its the customer mistake.Let me be clear I am looking to ensure you realize your employees are not customer centric, lack knowledge and have ensured that me or anybody I know will never come back to your dealership or for the fact even be a Chevy customer again. Also if you wish to talk you should have my number call me anytime during the weekdays. Only positive was Will Ramos, the sales guy, was exceptional.
