Criminal, Dishonest, and Deceptive Dealership Always get everything in writing with this place. After spending over an hour signing finance paperwork, they casually mentioned that the previous owner get everything in writing with this place. After spending over an hour signing finance paperwork, they casually mentioned that the previous owner lost the title, so we’d have to take the car home with dealer plates. Not a huge issue, but clearly something they intentionally waited to tell us after the sale. As we walked out, the salesman handed us one key fob and claimed the previous owner lost the second one—then said to “just come back in 30 days” for another. Why 30 days? No clue. Probably so there’s no record of us being promised a second key. Two weeks later, we received paperwork from GMC Financial showing we were being financed for $4,000 more than the signed contract. After a full day of arguing with the dealership, we were told the finance manager had added an extended warranty we explicitly declined—twice. We even had an outside quote and told her we weren’t interested. I called GM Financial and spoke with a helpful agent who confirmed the warranty was through the dealership, not a third party. She filed a complaint on my behalf. This dealership is dishonest, manipulative, and willing to lie to close a deal. Avoid them at all costs More

I had a great experience with the service department. I was a little bit confused in the morning when I was dropping off my car and I ran into your service manager, Edward Hoene who was nothing but polit I was a little bit confused in the morning when I was dropping off my car and I ran into your service manager, Edward Hoene who was nothing but polite and pleasant and helped me get my car checked in so I could get to work. My service consultant was Fritz Wellman. Fritz communicated with me the whole day as to the update of my car and had it waiting for me when I got back. These two gentlemen made my visit to empire Chevy, pleasant and effortless. I would definitely use the service department again. More
