Elmwood to the RESCUE! I recently purchased a 2016 Durango from a dealership in MA, and after 3 months of trying to get them to handle a warranty issue I reached out to Elmw I recently purchased a 2016 Durango from a dealership in MA, and after 3 months of trying to get them to handle a warranty issue I reached out to Elmwood. Paul Jr. at Elmwood came to the rescue. Within 2 days of speaking with Paul Jr. I brought my Durango in for him to inspect the paint issue on the roof, and he sent me directly to the auto body to have it looked at, 2 weeks later i have my Durango back. I will be servicing it with Elmwood as they seem to understand that the long term value of a customer is worth picking up where another dealership left off. More
Service Experience I purchased my Jeep last year and love it. This was my first purchase at Elmood Dodge and yesterday I had a recall to address as well as an oil chang I purchased my Jeep last year and love it. This was my first purchase at Elmood Dodge and yesterday I had a recall to address as well as an oil change, etc. The service department was very helpful and friendly and because it was going to take some time, they put me in a loaner so that I could go on with my day. People would tell me your NUTTS you can get it done "CHEAPER" somewhere else? Well I believe in LOYALTY & the QUALITY of the PEOPLE that I talk to. I recently just ran into a MAJOR REPAIR on that same DODGE and got a QUOTE.... WELL I called ELMWOOD & told them there is just NO WAY I could afford that right now but I did need the car back. Well the FINE FOLKS there including Dede Silva & Jim Verdoia looked into this matter. I GUESS LOYALTY PAID OFF because they came up with a much better PLAN to get me back in my Dodge SAFELY AND MORE AFFORDABLE!!!!! THANK YOU ALL for making feel like part of YOU ELMWOOD FAMILY!! I own a retail business and know how hard it is to keep staff members motivated to give great customer service. Elmwood Dodge has accomplished this. This service department is an absolute embarrassment This is my 2nd and certainly last purchase through Elmwood. Drove my vehicle off the lot with 5 miles on the OD and noticed a stability issue at highw This is my 2nd and certainly last purchase through Elmwood. Drove my vehicle off the lot with 5 miles on the OD and noticed a stability issue at highway speeds. Brought the vehicle in for service the next week and 4 times following that, before they told me they "Cannot diagnose the problem" and that my issue is a "characteristic of the vehicle". On top of this, the women working in the service dept. were incredibly rude and clearly hated their jobs. They finally agreed to have a Chrystler Rep drive the truck to consider a "Buy Back". The service department gave no documentation for the visit and told me my truck is "fine" saying that "overriding the trucks MDS system will make my problem go away". Well it didn't do a thing and I was completely blown off from that point on. After all, the sales manager himself told me my only option is to trade out of the vehicle and add an extra $150/month to my lease. This is client service? This is a great buying experience? I would not recommend Elmwood's service dept. to my worst enemy. More
The never ending repair. My experience with Elmwood Dodge's service center is one I would rather forget. Today they finally were able to complete a repair on an amplifier that My experience with Elmwood Dodge's service center is one I would rather forget. Today they finally were able to complete a repair on an amplifier that was deemed broken back in June of 2015. After waiting several months for a new amp to come in I was told the amp was no longer being manufactured. This was only after I was told it would be in ten days after my initial visit. After the ten day window had past I was told it would be 14 more days, then again after the 14 days I was told it would be about a month, then after the month I was told it would be another month. This brought me into late September when finally I was told it was not ever coming in and that the only solution was to have the amp repaired (something I asked about after the first ten day wait period). After months of waiting for the new amp to come the service center was diligent about removing the amp and sending it out to be repaired. I was promised the entire process of removing, repairing and reinstalling would be no longer than ten days. After approximately 20 days and some angry phone calls the amp was finally installed. The reason the reinstall was such a long process was because service center employee Scott wanted to handle the entire situation himself so he convinced me into making an appointment on a day he was working. Initially an appointment was made for Wednesday October 21st but was cancelled the day of due to the technician going home early that day. I wanted my next appointment to be the following Saturday (10/24) but Scott wasn't working so he asked if I could wait until October 31st (a day he said he was working) which was the following Saturday. On Wednesday October 28th Scott called me minutes before the service center closed and left me a voicemail stating that he was confused as to why I had made an appointment on a day he wasn't working (I made the appointment with him over the phone). I went into Elmwood Dodge on Thursday October 29th to speak with Scott to clear up any confusion about the Saturday appointment and was promised by him personally that he would come in on Saturday the 31st just to handle my appointment. On October 31st Scott did not follow through with his promise and he passed me off to another employee who was able to charge me full price for the repair even after having to wait several months. The only thing Scott and Dede could say to me was "It's not my fault" to which I ask who's fault is it because it's certainly not mine. I will never go back or recommend anyone to Elmwood Dodge for any work ever again! More
