I decided to visit a dealership a few months ahead of time for a used truck. I looked at Google maps and of the dealers in the local area Elkins Chevrolet had a great rating, so I stopped by. When I visited I was only starting the process of buying a truck. I wasn't looking to purchase the day I did. What changed my mind were two key factors. First, they had almost the exact used Silverado I was looking for. Second, the salesman Steve Rosenburg was a complete pleasure to deal with. I have had poor experiences in the past but with Steve everything was easy and laid back. He was concerned about getting me into the vehicle that I wanted and was a genuine person which was very refreshing. I think the price was resonable and I got a little more than I expected for my trade in which was thanks to Joe Capra. Overall Elkins made a process that can cause anxiety into an open conversation about what fit my needs. If I buy another Chevy I'll be looking for Steve and Joe again. More

I was looking for a new Truck, my Toyota Tacoma was a little too small and noticed that Chevy had some really nice incentives going on and a friend of mine had just purchased a 2013 Silverado from Elkins little too small and noticed that Chevy had some really nice incentives going on and a friend of mine had just purchased a 2013 Silverado from Elkins and recomended a sales person named Jeff. I pulled into Elkins Chevrolet late on a Saturday and Jeff Schor met me in the parking lot. I know, what a coincidence. Anyway, I told Jeff that we were looking and that my friend had recommended him and Elkins. I told Jeff that I just wanted to look today and would be back on Monday to pick a truck out if I could get a good deal. I arrived on Monday evening around 6pm, looked at some truck models and test drove one. I picked out a Mocha colored truck and while we were sitting going over the figures my wife said, "Mike, you do know that that truck is Brown, don't you?". I am a little color blind and thought that it was Grey. I told Jeff we had a problem!! I said that, I would really like a Silver truck like my last one. Jeff told me that he would do everything that he could to get me what I wanted, AND HE DID...He came back with a smile on his face and said I have one right here in the showroom. I went over looked at it and said SOLD. I don't know how, but my new Silver Silverado already had a tow package, pin stripes, and a bed liner which was just what I wanted. Jeff was able to give me a great deal on the truck that I wanted, and I even found that belonging to a Credit Union was a HUGE PLUS, which gave me another $2000 off and great financing, Gap Insurance, and a Warantee that Nick was able to match. Bob was able to give me a good price on my 2004 Toyota that we could both agree on. Jeff spent some time with us after the sale and showed us every feature of our new truck so that we could start using it right away. Over all this was my BEST dealer experience EVER. ONE OTHER THING - The following Monday I was having some accessories added to my truck at Elkins and noticed my old Toyota being given a thorough going over by the Elkin's service department and used car manager. Why I would recommend Elkins Chevy to anyone buying a car. This by far and away the greatest experience I have ever encountered. Not only the over whelming service given by the salesman jimmy (scooter) car. This by far and away the greatest experience I have ever encountered. He took the time to go over every detail of the car with my wife and I which put me at ease buying a car during these hard times. He made me feel as if there would be no troubles at all. And what a deal I got. after going to 3 other dealers that didn't seem to care at all I was even there. As far as the service center aspect goes WOW WOW WOW WOW. unreal.
