We should have heeded the warnings of other customers of Elite Motors. These people are unbelievable! My husband and I found a Porsche we were interested in purchasing from them on e-bay. Upon contacting Elite Motors. These people are unbelievable! My husband and I found a Porsche we were interested in purchasing from them on e-bay. Upon contacting the dealership, Doug was the person my husband spoke with regarding the car. My husband made an offer to Doug, who had to take the offer to the sales manager, Mark. This process took over a day to hear back from Doug. They counter-offered. That evening, the sales manager, Mark, contacted us to see if we were still interested. My husband explained that we made another offer to Doug and were waiting to hear back from them. So it was apparent, the right hand certainly didn't know what the left hand was doing. My husband contacted Doug, salesperson, the next day to follow up with his conversation the evening before that he had with Mark, sales manager. Doug said he did not know that Mark had contacted us. Finally, a price was agreed upon. We gave our credit card info to secure the transaction along with social security number and driver's license number. At that point, Doug assured my husband that the car was going to be removed from all advertised listings or marked sold. He said he was going to e-mail our documents out and we would proceed with the purchase. This was at 1:15 in the afternoon. At 8:30 that night, Doug called and left a message stating the car sold on e-bay after he had spoken with my husband. So..they didn't mark the car as sold as stated. The moral of the story...BUYER BEWARE!!! These people lack integrity and do not stand by an agreed offer. Not the kind of people you would like to do business with! More
Purchased vehicle... Only 1 key-cost $200 for another Purchased vehicle... Only 1 key-cost $200 for another due to remote being part of the key No navigation Disc-When I called, they said they had one Purchased vehicle... Only 1 key-cost $200 for another due to remote being part of the key No navigation Disc-When I called, they said they had one but it wasn't the right one so they told me to buy one on EBAY. Purchased the extended warranty, it was late when we left and when I got home I noticed they gave me the wrng one (purchsed no ded, recieved $100.00 ded). I called Debra 3 times and was promised correction but never received. Was promised inside and outside detail...drove 100 miles and the dirt was still on the inside (was never touched) and it appeared I only got a car wash. On the way home brake system light came on, took it back and they said they ran diagnostics and it was a stuck light. Thye refused to do more. I had to take it to a shop for repairs. Approx 2 months after purchase, the sunroof started making noised so I took it to be looked at. The previous sunroof had shattered and they never bothered to clean out the track. Cost $200.00 for that. These guys are scam artist and their vehicles are junk (mine was)...stayaway unless you want a nightmare! More
Worst experience buying a car I have ever had. They never return phone calls. Forced me to purchase a "Theft Deterrent System Limited Warranty" for $199 in order to buy the vehicle. Told I could refuse the " return phone calls. Forced me to purchase a "Theft Deterrent System Limited Warranty" for $199 in order to buy the vehicle. Told I could refuse the "benefits" of the plan, but had to pay the $199 regardless. Salesman Marty out right lied. Alex speaks from both sides of his mouth. Mark the sales manager is as slimey as they come. You need a shower after dealing with this place. Steer clear of this rip-off dealer. More
Came in to purchase a Porsche, looked at a few vehicles and Elite Motors had the best price I could find. Craig was very courteous and professional, he told me upfront that the car had only one key and all and Elite Motors had the best price I could find. Craig was very courteous and professional, he told me upfront that the car had only one key and all the books were in the glove box. The tires were at about 60%, but I’m aware of the fact that the car is 4 years old. Everything went smooth until I went to Debra to sign the paperwork. I saw some of these reviews when doing research, and I’ll be honest I got upset when she was adamantly trying to convince me to buy a warranty. I did have the car inspected by a 3rd party Porsche dealer prior to driving in and was told the car is in great condition. Bless her for convincing me to get it, I thought I would cancel it in a month or two, and then a break down occurred. It would have cost me almost $5,000.00 since the car was out of manufacturer’s warranty. At the end of the day I spent a fraction of the sticker price on a new one, and have the same warranty coverage, can’t beat that. I love my car, and I’m grateful to their staff. The moral of the story is don’t be offended when they offer you warranty protection, even if the car is perfect today it’s bound to break down at some point, even if it’s a month later. Reminds me of a joke. There was a man sitting on his porch watching the rain fall. Pretty soon the water was coming over the porch and into the house. The man was still sitting there when a rescue boat came and the people on board said, "You can't stay here you have to come with us." The man replied, "No, God will save me." So the boat left. A little while later the water was up to the second floor, and another rescue boat came, and again told the man he had to come with them. The man again replied, "God will save me." So the boat left him again. An hour later the water was up to the roof and a third rescue boat approached the man, and tried to get him to come with them. Again the man refused to leave stating that, "God will save him." So the boat left him again. Soon after, the man drowns and goes to heaven, and when he sees God he asks him, "Why didn't you save me?" God replied, "You dummy! I tried. I sent three boats after you!!" More
We were just looking for a fun summer car on the internet and ran across the Elite Motors website. I called and spoke to "CRAIG" he was very courteous and professional. It seems like he has been in this busi and ran across the Elite Motors website. I called and spoke to "CRAIG" he was very courteous and professional. It seems like he has been in this business for a long long time. We went for a visit and picked out a SC430 convertable. Long story short, we bought the car and then had an issue with the "GPS" system. I called 'CRAIG" and mind you this is after signing the documents and buying the vehicle in an "AS IS" condition. "CRAIG" told me that he will stand behind my purchase and take care of this issue. A few days later I recieved a call from "CRAIG" and was told that the part for my "GPS" had arrived and to come in and get it installed. Did they have to take care of this issue? NO! But becuase of "CRAIG" this issue which could have cost me a lot of money at "LEXUS" was taken care of. Says a lot about "CRAIG" I will be in the market for a 911 Turbo or and S next year and I shall look up "CRAIG" first before shopping elsewhere :) More
Elite specializes in luxury & some sports cars typically with higher mileage 60k+. They stick to their price, but their prices are good to begin with. I test drove a 5 Series BMW and they let me typically with higher mileage 60k+. They stick to their price, but their prices are good to begin with. I test drove a 5 Series BMW and they let me have it checked by my mechanic. It checked clean except for an error that came up on the dash. Elite said they would fix it. I was concerned they would clear a code & give it back to me, but they ended up taking it to another dealer who replaced a module and installed it. James was my sales person and really understands customer service and the dealer stands behind him. In general I'd say you should know what you are buying and have realistic expectations of buying a used car. They do a great job of photographing the car, but if you are not local ask plenty of questions, I wouldn't want any surprises from buying a car I didn't drive. Explain in detail what you are looking for, ask your sales person to test drive it for you but you should have driven the same car for comparison impressions. There are quirks inherent in all cars especially used cars. Know this going in, but I would definitely buy from Elite again. More
First half good, second half bad - very quick on the sale but little to no follow up. Very much churn and burn. I bought a supposidly mint Audi S8 that had numerous minor and easily fixable issues: fuse bl but little to no follow up. Very much churn and burn. I bought a supposidly mint Audi S8 that had numerous minor and easily fixable issues: fuse blown, key not programmed, washer check valve shot, etc. The car sat so long on the lot and Craig promised a new battery but someone just jumped the original and it died a week after I took delivery. Emailed him and no response. $150 bucks. One week later Cats started rattling. Woof. Four weeks later the cam adjuster failed - $2K to start. Woof Woof. Mechanic now owns car - true story. My bad ultimately - never buy without mechanic checkout or certified or some warranty. More
I bought a car from Elite Motors 2 weeks ago. I work for a Chevy dealer, so I am in the “business” my self. Yet, my used car manager could not come even close to the price that Elite Motors gave me. I have a Chevy dealer, so I am in the “business” my self. Yet, my used car manager could not come even close to the price that Elite Motors gave me. I have simply have stumbled up on previous review (my dealership is on here as well) and merely would like to comment on it, since I can relate to the situation. Folks, when you are buying a USED car, expect getting one, it might miss items like manual, keys etc. If the previous owner has them I always give them to my clients if not then it is per clients request I would be more then happy to order (at customers disbursement),that is in order to keep costs down. Reality check folks: Dealer can replace all items new , no problem, but then who would buy that car at such high cost, it is PRE-driven car after all. People expect to buy the car $3,000 below retail, have all the keys and manual and the car to be PERFECT condition, it happens but don’t expect all the time unless you buy a NEW car for $$$$$ more. And yes my car did not come with all keys either, its ok for me atleast, I think I can spare $300 of thousands I saved. More
I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Elite Motors and found my experience to be extremely unprofessional. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a pre-owned car. My suggestion is t Motors and found my experience to be extremely unprofessional. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a pre-owned car. My suggestion is to work directly with certified pre-owned manufacturers who stand behind their certification and warranties. Consider yourself warned - dealing with Elite Motors is the same as dealing with a private seller. Here's why - AFTER I had signed all financial paperwork, I was informed by their finance guy that they only had one key to a vehicle that I had just paid 45 thousand dollars for. To purchase an extra key costs $350, but Elite Motors was adament in their position that they would not cover this cost! Their view is that they only recieved one key so that is all they have to give out!! One would think that a car company looking to build customer loyalty and satisfaction would be willing to spend $350, especially after a customer just spend fair market value for one of their used vehicles. What made the situation worse was the unethical way that they proposed that I go about getting an additional key. They said that since the car was only a few years old I should sign up for the manufacturer's annual key coverage insurance. Once I was enrolled, they suggested that I report that I had lost a key in order to get an additional one! It is amazing to me that a car dealership would suggest such a scam. A better and easier solution was the one that proposed - try and reach out to the person who had traded in the car that I was now purchasing to see if they had any of the extra keys laying around (As a new luxury car, the original owner would have received 3 keys). To my knowledge, this was not done, and I never received a follow-up call or e-mail stating that they had tried to contact the previous owner. I had specifically requested that they follow-up with me on this point. Another minor detail that made my experience unpleasant was the poor attention to detail upon picking up the car. As an example, upon entering the car, I noticed old food (potato chips) that was present on the floor between the driver seat and middle console. Bottom line is this dealership does not take any steps to earn your trust and is completely unprofessional from start to finish. After this experience it comes as no surprise to me why used car dealerships have the bad reputation that they do. The service, and manner in which Elite Motors conducts business, strongly suggests that they are completely deserviing of this bad reputation. More
Bought a 2005 VW Touareg from this dealer. Flew in from Cincinnati to pick it up. Asked dealer if the auto had all NAV CD's they said yes. It didn't. When I called dealer back to ask if they had them they Cincinnati to pick it up. Asked dealer if the auto had all NAV CD's they said yes. It didn't. When I called dealer back to ask if they had them they said no... But I could buy them off eBay. I bought them through the vw dealer. When signing papers for the car they were relentless about buying an aftermarket warranty. I almost walked out! If I hadn't flown there I would have. I have left with a bad taste in my mouth and will never purchase from them again. And I agree with all of the customer service claims. It sucks! More
